I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and feel comfortable with different sizes and personalities. I’m originally from Australia and really miss having dogs around, so I’d love the chance to spend time with pups here while helping out their owners. My sister had a German Shepherd that I helped care for as she grew up, and I’ve had an older small dog of my own who needed a bit of extra attention in her later years. I’m not a professional trainer, but I’m patient, gentle, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. Your dog will get lots of care and affection while they’re with me.

I could not recommend Matilda enough as a pet caregiver. Growing up Matilda always not only had pets but took on the majority of the responsibility of taking care of our pets. She always gave them so much time and attention. I previously had two large German shepherds and would always go to Matilda when I needed someone to look after them.

Schedule
I currently work a 7am-5.30pm shift at a local Philadelphia hospital, but am frequently around on weekends for sitting and am free week nights. I live in University city so am also free to sit at any residence around that area.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex that has a dog park attached to the building. I’m also right by the Schuylkill River trail, which is perfect for walks and exploring. If a dog needs quiet time or its own space, I have a spare room that can be set up just for them.
A typical day
I love being outside and staying active, so your dog can expect plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I live near the Penn/Drexel campus and the Schuylkill River, which are great places for walks and getting some energy out. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or just having someone nearby, I'm happy to match their personality and routine. My goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away.
