I recently moved from Argentina to the UK to continue my medical career and I’m currently studying for my exams. This means I have a flexible schedule during the week and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. Looking after animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it’s the perfect way for me to stay active, de-stress, and earn a little extra while doing something I love.

I can walk dogs regularly and also house sit in the owner’s home, making sure pets are happy, safe, and well looked after in their own familiar space. I follow each pet’s routine, whether that’s feeding, playtime, or medication if needed. My tenancy doesn’t allow pets in my own home, so I don’t host animals here, but I’d love to care for them in their own environment where they feel most comfortable.

The more I know, the better I can keep them happy and comfortable.
A typical day
I like to keep pets happy with whatever they enjoy most — walks, playtime, or just some company and cuddles. For dogs that’s usually a good walk and a bit of fetch; for cats it’s play with toys or quiet time if they prefer. I always make sure they’re fed, watered, and comfortable before I leave.

Pet care experience
I grew up surrounded by dogs and have cared for them since I was very young. Coming from a big family with many cousins who also owned dogs, I’ve had the chance to look after pets of all sizes and personalities. Over the years, I’ve house-sat for friends and family, caring for both dogs and cats — sometimes up to four dogs and a cat at the same time. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, and giving each pet the attention they need to feel safe and happy. I also have experience caring for sick dogs, including administering oral medication as part of their routine.
