Hi I'm Matia (pronounced "muh-tee-uh" if you were wondering 😄)! I've had dogs my entire life until the summer of 2023. I really missed having a dog around, so I started going to the dog park by myself just to pet any dogs that came up up to me...and now I have found my calling! To get a good idea of what your dog will experience here, I highly recommend checking out my photos and reviews! I host just one clients dog(s) at a time so that I can give them the best possible care and attention.

Another great stay with Matia!
I am usually nervous leaving our dog. However, Matia made me feel at ease from the start at our meet and greet to when we actually left our dog. She had great communication and provided many videos and photos. I could see that our dog was having so much fun and did not seem anxious or stressed. Those things all made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Matia and we will be using her for dog sitting again.
This was our first time using any kind of boarder/ sitter service and Matia was great! Our fur baby is a handful with a lot of energy so we needed someone comfortable with that and we were really happy with her care and service. Matia was wonderful with providing daily updates and it really helped with keeping my mind at ease that she was ok. We will definitely be a returning client in the future.
Matia was wonderful to work with every step of the way! She is communicative and reliable! She was so sweet with our anxious pup ensuring she felt comfortable! She has a great safe space set up with everything the doggies could need! Our dog looks forward to future stays with her!!
Matia is always professional, communicates frequently providing pictures/videos & treats my dog Bear with kindness. A couple days with Matia is a fun vacation for Bear & allows me to not worry & focus on the work to be done on my business trip. Highly recommend!
Matia is always great with Bella, We can tell right away that Bella loves staying with her and is very comfortable with her. She is very professional and very responsive and send frequent updates and pictures throughout the day.

Schedule
Pet care fits in perfectly with my work from home routine! The dogs love having someone around all the time who rarely leaves the house 😂 If your dog uses a dog door (or if you would like me to teach them), I have 2 sizes, but I will also be home to let them out as often as needed!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my #1 priority! FRONT ENTRYWAY: Metal Screen Door, Wood Door, and Dog Gate. BACK YARD: Tall Block Wall, Locked Gate, Pool Fence, and Dog-Friendly Artificial Grass (doesnt get too hot on paws in the AZ summer). INTERIOR: Latching trash can, camera in living room (if they may need checking on when I leave for my lunch break, for example). ENVIRONMENT: I keep a "Low Toxic" household to help people and dogs avoid common sources of PFAs. For a couple of examples, I do not burn candles in my home or use room sprays, I also do not use dryer sheets when washing dog blankets (they can be toxic to dogs)
A typical day
With most dogs, our day starts with either a walk or playing fetch in my back yard, whichever they prefer, then feeding (if they usually eat in the morning). Then when I'm working, the dogs will usually rest near me or even under my desk. After work we usually go for another walk or play out back again. The rest of the time your dogs usually like to go out back and sun bathe, relax, chew on a bone or do a dog puzzle. Usually near the end of the day the dogs like to cuddle up with me on the couch and watch TV (that's my favorite part)! Sometimes my handyman is here working during the day, he is also supportive and compliant with the pet safe and relaxed environment that I keep here.
