Growing up taking care of multiple animals: horses, dogs, cats, etc. has taught Matia from a young age how to be responsible for the care of animals and how to have a voice for those that can't speak for themselves. Matia earned a degree in animal sciences at NDSU which further expresses her joy and knowledge in the care of animals. I trusted her to watch my 8-week-old puppy while I went across the country for a week, and she followed my directions to a "T", sent me multiple pictures and videos, and took care of him like he was her own. Now, she has her own 8-month-old corgi mix to love; whom she is most attentive to. My only hesitancy in recommending her to watch your pets is that she will have less availability to watch mine.

Matia is my first choice for someone to care for my animals (cat, dog & horse). She has an animal science degree…but more than that, she’s trustworthy, reliable and caring. She has innate animal sense, and they sense that in her; she gains their trust quickly. She respects individual dog (cat…horse) parent preferences, follows instructions well and lets us know how they are doing.
