Hi, I’m Tilly. I’m 29 and I grew up on a farm in North Yorkshire, with 5 working spaniels! Our spaniels are quite a wild bunch so I know the importance of exercise, good training and most importantly the care and love that dogs need and deserve. I have experience training, walking, and providing medical and general dog care. I also have a Level 2 certified vocational training qualification in canine first aid. I now live in Horsforth, in the north of Leeds, in my own house. I don’t own any other pets (but will definitely be getting a dog when finances allow) and my house has a private, fenced-in garden area with lots of nearby parks and fields to walk in. I’d love to look after your furry friend (or friends) so feel free to get in touch if you have any questions :)

Tilly is a brilliant, caring and understanding sitter. She made our dog feel comfortable and settled on his first trip.
This was Tilly’s first time looking after Ronnie and she has been brilliant from start to finish. Great communication, a house visit and a walk in the woods all before Ronnie’s “vacation” last week whilst we enjoyed ours. He was treated to all his favourite (Border Collie) things, despite the hot weather. Playing ball, paddling and swimming to cool down and even a visit to the pub 😀. Ronnie settled in at Tilly’s very quickly and made it his home from home thanks to Tilly’s obvious affinity, experience and love for dogs. We would definitely use her again and would highly recommend her to any prospective boarders.
Harley had a great stay with Mathilda. And is booked in again later this year. Highly recommended.
If I could leave 10 stars that would have been great. Mathilda was absolutely amazing! She has cared for both Brian and Bella and I would 100% leave them again with her. Caring, gentle, and always keeping me updated. Mathilda you were incredible and Brian and Bella definitely missing you loads. They cannot wait for another visit. Thank you so so much for everything xxxx
This was Amelia's first stay with Tilly; as Amelia can be quite shy and nervous we had arranged a meet & greet in advance of her stay. We received updates and photos whilst we were away We feel that she was very caring and went the extra mile to make sure Amelia was happy during her stay. We would highly recommend her and would be happy for Amelia to stay with her again.

Schedule
I currently work from home full-time between 9-5 but my diary is flexible so I have plenty of time to commit to your pet. I spend most evenings after work getting some fresh air with a walk before chilling on the sofa and would love to have a dog for company. I’m happy to have a call or meet you to put your mind at ease about where your pet might be staying and will be sure to keep you updated regularly on how they’re getting along if they do stay with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 2 bedroom house with a fenced-in garden area and a porch. I also have a bath if your dog needs cleaning off after a walk. I don’t have any other pets so my house would work well for dogs that don’t get on with others too well. I’m happy to work with you on the best way to care for your dog to make them as comfortable as possible, whether they’d prefer to be up on the sofa or in their own crate with their own toys and familiar smells.
A typical day
There are lots of open spaces near me, I love going on walks through the fields nearby but also know a few better-lit routes around Horsforth while the nights are darker. In the house I’d love to be able to cuddle up with your dog and help them feel relaxed or we could have a play games or with toys. I’m happy to talk to you more about what is important to you.

- Let me know if your pet has any challenging behaviours or needs that you’d like me to be aware of. I’d love to talk to you beforehand if there are any difficult behaviours so I can understand any training you’ve done with them and make sure I keep up consistency in the techniques you may already be using while you’re away. I’m comfortable with all different sizes of dogs and open to supporting all different levels of training.
