I've grown up with a love of all animals and have had at least one dog or cat in the family for as long as I can remember. My mom managed a boarding and training kennel and took me to work with her every day, where I not only assisted her with the daily tasks, but also learned about caring for animals of all types and sizes. I started pet sitting for family and friends around the age of 10, and also was responsible for taking care of the pets in our home. I take my animals out for regular playtime and bathroom breaks, clean up the yard, and feed and water as needed. We have an older dog so I've also gotten comfortable with administering medication, whether it's chewable, hiding pills in treats, or injecting into the animal itself. I was bit by the pet lover bug at an early age, and it's become a huge passion in my life.
