I've grown up with a love of all animals and have had at least one dog or cat in the family for as long as I can remember. My mom managed a boarding and training kennel and took me to work with her every day, where I not only assisted her with the daily tasks, but also learned about caring for animals of all types and sizes. I started pet sitting for family and friends around the age of 10, and also was responsible for taking care of the pets in our home. I take my animals out for regular playtime and bathroom breaks, clean up the yard, and feed and water as needed. We have an older dog so I've also gotten comfortable with administering medication, whether it's chewable, hiding pills in treats, or injecting into the animal itself. I was bit by the pet lover bug at an early age, and it's become a huge passion in my life.

I know Mathias personally, but just last week found out he was employed by Rover. I was so excited, as he is a wonderful young man, very responsible and trust-worthy, and someone I feel completely comfortable with in our home and caring for a dog with health issues. Once I signed up with Rover, Mathias responded immediately to every communication. Day of, Mathias arrived promptly, and sent me pictures of our pup after each walk. I do believe "Buddy" was smiling! Overall, the experience with Rover and Mathias was exceptional, and we will definately be hiring Mathias again.
Took great care of our dogs, and responded quickly to messages I sent asking how they were doing.

You couldn't ask for a better pet sitter than Mathias! He truly loves animals and treats them all like family.He loves on them, plays with them and makes them feel comfortable. He's looked after my pets - dogs, cats and birds - and all of us have been happy with his care. For long term, or special needs (administering meds or anxiety) Mathias has stayed at our house to take care of our pets. He's polite and trustworthy and totally loves animals! I would trust him 100% to take care of our pets again!
Mathias is one the only people I trust with my dogs. I have 3 husky mixes and they can be a bit much to say the least. He not only keeps a close eye on them when they are out in the yard, but he gives them love and attention inside as well. He is also quick to notice if someone isn't feeling well and reacts accordingly. I highly recommend Mathias for all your pet needs.
