I’ve owned two dogs since they were puppies who now 12 and 11. I’ve also cared for my friends’ and family member’s dogs (elderly dachshund, frenchie, Boston terrier, and 3x labradoodles) for extended periods of time when they need a caregiver for when they’re out of town. I’m new to rover but experienced in pet care.

Matt took amazing care of my dog, Max, and I would trust him with Max again without hesitation. One of the things I appreciated most was how communicative and transparent he was throughout the entire stay. He consistently sent updates, photos, and messages throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear from every update that Max was receiving plenty of attention, care, and affection. Matt genuinely cares about the dogs he watches and takes the time to understand their needs and personalities. Knowing that Max was happy, comfortable, and in such capable hands made all the difference. Schedule
Currently, I work full time. I let my dogs out in the morning and they guard the house while I’m away. My mom is also at home to let them out. Once I get home, they get their cuddles and runs (usually about a mile). On the weekends we try to go to our relatives to let them play in the backyard together and I take dogs out for a long sniff walk.

At my house, the dogs mostly hang out in my room. I also have a fenced backyard for them to play in. When I’m at others’ homes, I follow instructions that are left behind to the T. I always reach out if I need clarification or have any questions.
Pets
A typical day
My usual go-to activity is to take the dogs out for a run or a long walk. I let them sniff around until they’re tired. I live near a park so I take them there to run around as well. My weekend schedule is pretty free so I don’t mind being at the park for long time.

- Drop off times 7am, pick up times 7pm. Please send me a message and we can coordinate pick up and drop off. Dogs will usually stay in my room. They also get potty breaks every couple of hours. I only keep one dog at a time so they have my full undivided attention.
