** Now happily serving two locations: Queen st East & Leslie st and Downtown ** Maida and I, have been working together since 2015 and really enjoy caring for dogs in each of our homes! Having our own dogs back home has encouraged us to give all of our love to other people's pets! And that is why we both absolutely adore taking care of dogs, cats or any other animals. We know what it's like to want a night out or weekend away, having to take a business trip or planning a vacation; you want your pup to be in a happy, safe and healthy environment! That is where we are happy to help! Maida and I are both in our early 40's, work from home and we love animals. We take pride in caring for pets and do so as if they were our own. We are attentive to detail, provide the love and attention that they deserve as well as special care instructions if needed. Our house is pet free, wide-open, in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood that is surrounded by green areas and parks. Dog sitting: As a general guideline, we work on a 24hr. drop-off/pickup timeline. We are flexible on your preferred times but like to follow this structure. As an example, if you would like to drop off your dog at 8 am, the pickup time on the scheduled day would be 8 am Dog Daycare: As a general guideline, we provide up to 9 hours of care. We follow an 8-hour workday plus two 30-minute windows so that you are able to drop off and pick up with sufficient time. We are flexible on your preferred times but we do like to follow this structure. As an example, if you want to drop off your dog at 8 am, the pickup time would be 5 pm (give or take 15 minutes). If it exceeds this we charge an overnight rate. Dog Walks: We offer 30 & 60 minutes group or private walks. **We welcome dogs with special needs & can accommodate last-minute bookings** ***If your dog is not friendly with other pups or you would like for them to be our sole booking, we are happy to accommodate that, the nightly rate would be $140***

We were absolutely thrilled with our experience with Matthew. This was our first time using Rover or having a dog sitter and everything was so well organized and easy for us. Harley seemed to have a lovely time. We also received some amazing pictures. We will definitely be coming back!

Our dog, Lucy, stayed with Matt for 5 days recently while we were out of town. It was our first time using Rover and we were admittedly a little nervous leaving her with someone new. Matt was amazing. He responded promptly to our inquiries and set up a time for us to meet him and Lucy to have a wee explore of his space. Lucy can be a bit timid but she was almost immediately at ease with Matt. While we were away he updated us on how she was doing regularly with photos and videos. We would 100% happily use Matt again and cannot recommend him highly enough.
Caleb had an awesome time!!!! Mathew was very communicative, patient and very responsive. Unfortunately, our pup had an upset tummy early on during his long stay but Mathew went out of his way to ensure he was comfortable and had everything he needed to make him feel better. We absolutely loved receiving the photos each day to see what he adventures was up to! We cannot express our gratitude enough for looking after him so well while we were away! Thank you thank you thank you!

Are they friendly with other dogs and humans? Do they have separation anxiety when left alone? We have scheduled dog walks during the week, are they ok left alone for about 2.5 hours? Have they stayed with a sitter before? What is a typical day like in regards to walking, feeding, and potty breaks?
A typical day
We love the outdoors and going to nice walks in the neighbourhood. If your pup is ok with dog parks we have a handful or different ones that we are happy to play fetch and socialize them. We might have another booking if personalities permit so they could have a new best friend to spend time with.

Availability
Maida and I work from home prominently doing pet care but may be on a zoom call from time to time. We do have scheduled dog walks in Riverdale and Leslieville so depending on pack size and location we try to take them along. If taking them along isnt possible we might have to be at the house for 1-2 hours.
