I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have constant companionship and supervision throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide regular toilet breaks, play sessions, and plenty of cuddles whenever your pup needs them. Because I’m home all day, I can easily stick to your dog’s usual routine, whether that includes meals at specific times, medication, or just some extra attention. Your furry friend will never be left alone for long and will enjoy a calm, caring environment with lots of love and interaction

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your dog happy, active, and comfortable. Mornings start with a toilet break and a nice walk to get some fresh air and exercise. After breakfast, there’s plenty of time for play—whether it’s fetch in the fenced garden, a tug-of-war session, or just some relaxed exploring. Midday usually includes a little rest and cuddle time, especially for pups who love a good nap. In the afternoon, we’ll go for another walk or enjoy more playtime outside. Meals, toilet breaks, and one-on-one attention are all built into the day, along with lots of love and belly rubs. Whether your dog is high-energy or prefers a slower pace, I tailor the day to their needs to make sure they feel right at home.

I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a home without them! Growing up with dogs taught me how to care for them with love, patience, and responsibility from an early age. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs. I’m comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and care needs, including administering medication, maintaining routines, and giving lots of affection. Whether your pup needs playtime or just a calm companion, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home.

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. First time leaving Ted for a long time so quite anxious but we didn’t need to be. The service & friendliness Matthew & Chris provide is amazing. This was Bosun's latest visit - a brief 24-hour stay and once again all went well. New pups meant we were a bit anxious as Bosun is an old grump but Mathew tells us all was fine. Looking to book Bosun in for another short visit in November now and already has one in the dairy for next week. Can't recommend enough
Mathew and his partner have cared for Rufus well. We have been updated on how the visit went and Rufus will back with Mathew again in December. A lovely couple.
