Experienced pet owner with a love of all dogs
I’ve been around dogs my entire life, dealing with a range of moods from aggressive to energetic and playful. I’ve fully raised and trained my current dog from a puppy to his current, lovely, self. All dogs are unique in their care and I love the challenge of figuring out everything they need to be happy.

Absolutely brilliant. Cannot fault him at all. Was worried about leaving my dog as he’s not stayed with anyone but family before. I had nothing to worry about, Matthew was brilliant with him. Lots of updates to keep me from worrying. Ralfie enjoyed his holiday at Matthew’s house.
Just like her partner Roisin, Matthew has been amazing looking after Cooper. Will definitely use it again in the future.

Schedule
I work from home full-time and my job is flexible so I should have more time to spend with your pet. I walk my own dog, on a nice nature trail and around a nearby park, at least once a day so I’m happy to accommodate any more or less exercise your pet will need.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a conservatory that leads to a fully fenced garden, I often just leave the door open so pets can wonder in and out at their leisure. There are also lots of toys and food puzzles available to keep your pets occupied and playful. For sleeping I let pets stay in their own beds and rooms unless an owner specifically wants them crated and I monitor if a dog is unhappy with the specific room they’re in. I’ll make sure to make any accommodations they might need.

A typical day
There’s a large park and nature trail nearby my home that all the local dogs love to walk around. I have a 50ft lead I can use if you’re not comfortable for your pet to be off-lead but they can still have room to run around and explore. There are also lots of toys and puzzles that are perfect for pets to be engaged with. The puzzles have shown to be really effective in helping anxious dogs eat their food.
