I am currently taking a break from my career in architecture so I have full flexibility to enjoy nature and animals this year. I will spend most of my personal time using my laptop to update things like my resume and plan my future career goals. I LOVE having the chance to interact with or take your pets for a long or short walk, I enjoy the exercise as much as they do.

I will usually like to leave a small scarf at your home during our initial meeting, that way when I arrive on the day of the sitting the animals are familiar with my scent, this has been working very well recently, especially for large territorial dogs. other than that I bring a few back-up leashes and prefer to take notes on your daily methods to keep your animals feeling un-stressed by continuing their usual routines.

I prefer at least 5 day gigs. Let me know if your animal has any special needs. Let me know if there is a particular problem you would like to see addressed. No promises but I enjoy relating to the animals and helping them learn. I also like to innovate solutions such as the splint I made for my cat which was better than the vet could do

I enjoy walks in the woods and new spots all the time. I patiently train animals to socialize calmly. I expect Your animal will be better behaved than when you left.

Pet care experience
My cat lived 15 years satisfying his curiosity travelling around the West with me. I am responsible and will keep both your pet and your place secure. I only do pet sitting right now. Willing to travel to you. Please let me know your schedule for when you need a sitter and I will try to accommodate. Also let me know time of day that is usual for feeding and walking and I will try to stick to that. It is important your pet feels secure. My cat learned to love my roommates Rottweilers. I enjoy helping animals learn. Reciprocal benefits to us both when I provide adequate pets and attention and they appreciate it.

My dog was well looked after and Matheu had a good rapport with her. My place was not left tidy in condition I left or for him. Communication was not great, improved after I had to deal with it. Then he updated me daily on the app by a photo only.
This is the second time we use Matheu for house and dog sitting. I am happy to see that my dog is in good condition and seems happy to be around him.
We booked Matheu to look after our home and dog, April for 9 days during Christmas but we wanted to do a trial first to see if he was a good match. We tried this last Friday and I have to say that everything went well. He listened and follow all the routines, he was friendly and April seemed very happy when we were back home. He is definitely our person for next time.
Matheu was perfect!!! He kept us updated on our babies everyday and was an absolute gem!! Will definitely be using him again in the future
