Pet care experience
Trusted, Experienced Pet Care
Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with German Shepherds and other dogs, so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and energy levels. My wife and I have also house-sat across Canada and the USA, caring for rescue dogs, Huskies, elderly dogs needing medication, and cats with a range of personalities. We’ve had our own pets in the past too, so we understand how important it is to trust the person looking after them. I have a flexible work schedule, no children or other pets at home, and live close to Durdham Down for plenty of walks.

Ratings and reviews
Mat took care of our whippets after a last minute request and still managed to fit in a pre-meet. Max and Polo were well cared for and exercised, they came home happy and relaxed after a long day with Mat. Thank you!
Mateusz was great with Suki, she came back super happy! Great communication throughout the whole process, thank you!
Mateusz was very professional, reliable and friendly. He followed the instructions for our cat Bean really well.
Rafa had a lovely time
Amazing sitter. It was clear Tokyo was super happy with him and had a great time. All instructions were followed well and I got lots of photos. Would definitely book again.
Matt was amazing - very punctual, polite and professional. I went to London knowing that Wooster was in good hands. Super good at communicating and sending photos. Wooster was very happy too. Highly recommend

Schedule
I have a flexible job, so I can structure my day around your pet’s needs rather than fitting them around a rigid 9-to-5.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I’m comfortable caring for pets that need a little extra attention, whether that’s giving medication, helping an anxious rescue dog settle in, or giving a shy cat the time and space to feel comfortable.
A typical day
I’ll usually do at least two good walks a day, depending on age and energy levels. We’re also close to the Downs, so there’s plenty of space for walks and play.

- The more you can tell me about your pet’s routine, personality and needs beforehand, the better. Things like feeding, medication, behaviour or triggers, how they are with new people, sleeping habits and emergency vet details are all really helpful.
