Work, life balance is easy with me.
I am a college student who grew up in the Virgin Islands before moving here in 8th grade. I grew up with animals constantly in my life. From dogs to horses. I currently have a dog, and a few have fish. I also enjoy music and cooking. In the Virgin Islands my uncle was a horse owner and trainer. I spent many early mornings helping to walk, feed, clean, and organize the horses and their tack. Though my major is speech pathology I do have a love and passion for animals and will be applying to veterinary school after completing my degree. I hope to make your day to day life a bit easier, and help your animals feel as great as they look.

Currently I am not able to accommodate pets in my own home, however I am able to travel to your location and provide feeding, walking, play, and or medication to the pets at their homes. I also house sit for families that are looking to travel and cannot take their pets.

Mateo is always great with my dog!
Mateo is amazing!!!! He went above and beyond!!! We had Mateo stay with our dog Squirrel for 3.5 days while we were away. He sent lots of great pictures and videos to keep us updated, was a wonderful houseguest, and our dog is in love with him! Mateo even left us a very thoughtful thank you note and a plant as a wedding gift!! We will 100% be having Mateo take care of Squirrel again and we highly recommend him!
Mateo has been my go to call for pet care the past two years. Initially he cared for my hedgehog and would give me regular updates. My hedgie stayed on his regular schedule under Mateo’s care. Then he cared for both my hedgie and kitten excellently, it’s amazing having pet care I can trust.
Mateo took care of my dog for a week when I was out of town. My dog loves him, and he followed all my feeding instructions. I will ask him to dogsit for me again.

Schedule
I am currently working part time through the summer and will be able work around your schedule as much as I possibly can. We will further discuss a schedule upon contact.
