Experienced dog-owner to look after your pet
I have loads of experience with dogs. Growing up, we had a much-loved labrador, and I spent several years fostering rescue dogs with my wife Cathy. We have primary school aged children who also have lots of dog experience. Most recntly, as a family we fostered and rehomed a beautiful staffy around the pandemic. We would love to provide a welcome and loving home if your dog needs looking after.

Max had a great first stay with Mat and his family. He can be a bit unsure staying somewhere new, but he was very happy and relaxed when I collected him.

Mat,Cathy and their girls were brilliant. They made it all so easy and stress free for me and gave Wilf such a lovely holiday. He was able to try out all the most comfortable spots to sleep … very important when you’re a lurcher !! He had such a happy time and we had lots of photos of him looking very chilled! Thank you all so much… he had such a great time with you … which meant we could have a great holiday too x
Mat and his family looked after our lively Labrador so well and sent plenty of pictures every day! We’re so happy with how our dog was looked after and will be booking in with Mat and his lovely family again! Thankyou Mat! :)
This was our lively Labradors first stay with Mat, as a trial night before a longer booking. Our dog clearly had a lovely time with Mat, he enjoyed playing, walks and Mat sent us plenty of pictures and reassurance as we were so nervous leaving our boy! We feel prepared and happy to leave him with Mat again next month. Thanks Mat!

Schedule
I work hybrid and my wife works from home - so we can directly care for and walk your dog throughout their stay. We have excellent flexibility around pick-up, drop-off times.

We have a dog friendly home with a completely secure backyard to roam around in. We are able to offer walks throughout the day as needed.
A typical day
I often work from home but am always happy for an exuse to get out and stretch my legs - and going for a walk with a dog is always more fun... We're semi-rural so can easily get out into the fields. Between me and my wife your dog won't be short of willing dog-walkers througout the day. Alternatively, if your dog's happy to take it easy and just go outside into the yard when needed - no problem!
