My boyfriend and I were raised with dogs. I grew up with schnauzers and he with pitbulls so we're ok with all types of breeds! We have no pets in the house but there are some cats living in the neighborhood. We only watch one dog at a time

Schedule
We work alternating hybrid schedules so someone can typically be home with your pet at all times. We are able to take your dog on walks 3x a day or as needed. For walks we like to do 30 minutes as soon as we wake up (around 6am), 30 minutes at lunchtime and 30-60 minutes in the early evening. We also do potty breaks throughout the day as needed. If we leave the house it's usually for no more than 4 hours at a time. If you have any preferences for exercise this can be adjusted as needed. We're happy to do pickup and dropoffs at our home anytime between 7am and 9pm. For house sitting we do 3 visits a day, morning, lunchtime and dinnertime. For boarding, Please avoid Tuesday mornings for dog drop offs as sometimes we need to go to the office. Also please know that our doorbell doesn't work / sometimes we can't hear knocking so please message when you arrive! We live in an upstairs unit so please note there are stairs in our house.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a duplex house with a fenced yard, so we will use that space as well for some supervised roaming. We also love taking your dog on leashed walks around the neighborhood. We have a park with pond in our area that has some ducks and dogs love to go on walks there! Sometimes Ben will go on a run with your pet. We also require all dogs to do a meet and greet in our house before boarding. We are unable to watch reactive dogs or dogs that use e-collars. For safety we cannot do walks with retractable leashes. Please provide a nylon leash. Also please ensure that your dog is bathed / nails are trimmed prior to drop off.
A typical day
I will take your dog for a walk in the morning before work, my partner can walk your dog after lunch and we can walk them after work around 5pm. We can give up to 2 hours of walks a day if needed. Nightime is typically a time we like to spend playing with your pet with tug of war toys or throwing a ball so feel free to bring some toys! We also find that having chew toys can be helpful for your pup for settling in. During the work day, we have a patio next to the office that your pup can lay on to enjoy some fresh air.

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or will need to take any medications. We can help out as needed. Let us know if your dog is ok with strangers, and greetings on or off leash. Our house has a lot of plants. Please let us know if your pet has a tendency to eat plants so we can place them out of reach. We can also offer pickup and drop off services for an added fee if needed. Thanks!
