Puppy, Small & Medium Dog Care 🐾

Hi, I'm Zanne! If you're new to Rover, you can use my referral code MARZAD56807 for £30 off your first booking. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with a golden retriever, a staffie and a chihuahua, and have spent years caring for dogs for family, friends and neighbours while they were away. I'm comfortable with all the basics — feeding, walks, playtime, keeping routines consistent and making sure dogs feel safe and settled in a new environment. I have a particular interest in puppy development and positive reinforcement, and I love helping reinforce the good habits you're already building at home. Whether that's crate routines, toilet breaks, calm behaviour, enrichment activities or practising good lead manners, I'll make sure your pup's routine continues while they're with me. I work from home and only care for a small number of dogs at a time, so your dog gets plenty of attention, companionship and a calm home environment.

Safety, trust & environment

Every dog is different, so I always follow the routine and boundaries you've already established at home. Before each booking, I'll take the time to understand your dog's habits, preferences and anything that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I live in a secure flat with a lovely green space just outside, and Hyde Park is only a short walk away. Walks are tailored to each dog, whether that's a relaxed sniff walk, practising loose lead walking or simply enjoying some fresh air. At home, I'm happy to reinforce training, offer enrichment activities or provide a quiet space for dogs who prefer to relax—it all depends on what suits your dog best. I keep my boarding numbers low so every dog receives plenty of individual attention, and because I work from home, they're rarely left alone. My priority is always creating a calm, safe environment where your dog can settle in and feel at home.

A typical day

Every dog has their own routine, so I always start by following what works best for them at home. A typical day includes a walk to one of the local green spaces or Hyde Park, plenty of sniffing and exploring, and lots of downtime at home. For dogs who enjoy it, I love adding enrichment activities like lick mats, Kongs, sniffing games and practising training cues. Puppies can also continue their routines while they’re with me, including toilet breaks, crate practice (if applicable) and reinforcing good habits. I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention and a calm place to relax throughout the day.

Before your dog's stay, I'd love to learn about their normal routine, personality and anything that helps them feel comfortable away from home. Helpful things to know include: * Their usual feeding schedule and any dietary requirements * Their normal walking routine, energy levels and favourite activities * Their temperament around people, dogs and new environments * Any training cues or routines you'd like me to continue reinforcing * Any fears, triggers or behaviours I should be aware of * Their comfort level with things like being handled, grooming, crate time or being left alone * Their sleeping habits and anything that helps them settle at night * Any medical needs, medications or special care instructions The more I understand about your dog before they arrive, the easier it is for me to make their stay feel familiar, safe and stress-free.
