I have been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember, frequently taking care of orphaned creatures of various kinds. Over the years, I have dedicated my time to volunteering at a no-kill animal sanctuary for six years and working at a respected pet-sitting business named "Love Them & Leave Them" based in Hawaii for five years. My love for animals knows no bounds! I find their behaviors and capabilities endlessly fascinating and entertaining. Whether big or small, furry or not, old or young, every dog holds a special place in my heart, and I wholeheartedly offer them my care, friendship, and affection.

Currently, I work as a driver for DoorDash, giving me the freedom to set my own hours. This means that I can easily accommodate my passion for looking after dogs, which I consider to be both a pastime and a form of work that brings me immense joy. In the past, I used to prefer pet-sitting in my own home. However, with my mom's four Shih Tzus joining the family, my household is now a bit crowded. As a result, I have shifted my preference towards caring for pets in their own familiar environment, where they feel the most comfortable. When I stay at your home, I treat it as if it were my own. If feasible, I will bring your furry friends along when I leave, but if not, I ensure they are not left alone for extended periods, typically no more than 2-3 hours, depending on the dog and the circumstances.

I would recommend Maryjo. I have one skittish dog that went right up to her on our meet and greet. I ended up cancelling at the last minute and she was very caring about the situation. I still paid her of course because this was not her fault. I will contact her again the next time I travel. I chose her because of her reviews and her repeat bookings.
MaryJo is absolutely fantastic. She really cared for our pups and kept them active and entertained. MaryJo really truly cares for our puppies and is so thoughtful, she's a breath of fresh air. We didn't have to worry one bit about the welfare of our doggies while on vacation and will 100% use her in the future and highly highly recommend her. Thank you thank you MaryJo, we are big fans!!!!
Mary Jo is amazing. We have never left a dog or hired a dog nanny before, ever. So our anxiety was high from the entire search. Then we found Rover, had great reviews and some personal referrals from trusted friends, and was easy to navigate . Next we found Mary Jo and after the meet and greet we were at ease and Finn trusted her immediately! She is gentle and caring and showed those exceptional qualities to our sweet dog and our home! She sent photos within the first hour that we left, adorable videos and really special captured moments they shared throughout their time together; that made our hearts light, and allowed us to know Finn was well cared for and enabled us to fully enjoy our family reunion and celebration without worry for our boy! Maryjo did a fantastic job she was on time took excellent care of her our dogs. Kept us updated on them sent us pictures thanks, Maryjo.
Maryjo was wonderful. We had her sit with our English Springer Spaniel while we were visiting Lake Havasu. She came to our hotel for 6 hours. She took our pup for a ride as it was 100 degrees outside and then when it cooled down she took him for A walk. She shared photos and videos while we were away. It was our first time leaving him with a stranger. She also got him to eat which was a miracle because he normally won’t eat when we are on the road. When we woke in the morning we found a bag o treats for our pup, from Maryjo, hanging on our hotel room door. We highly recommend Maryjo.
Maryjo was absolutely fantastic. She treated our pups with kindness and spent a lot of time with them, taking them on walks and playing with them. Maryjo was superb at keeping us informed and sending us lots of pictures. I think she is a dog whisperer! Suzy Q and Billie Jean and we look forward to Maryjo coming back again!

Programa
After relocating to Arizona to be closer to my mother, I have structured my schedule in a way that allows me the flexibility to engage in activities that I truly enjoy, such as spending time with and embarking on adventures with our beloved furry companions. I have a knack for forming strong bonds with the pets under my care, and it is not uncommon for me to want to drop by just to say hello every now and then.
