PSA: We recommend writing a list before or after meet & greets for future stays. We do crated or none crated dogs. Friendly with other dogs? Just incase we walk them Kid friendly? Does any of your animals have fleas? Is or isn’t on a routine? Please provide food when boarding with us. Any medication please come with written instructions. Habits? Good or bad.
A typical day
Being able to mentally and physically stimulate your dog throughout the day is one of the best ways to build trust and strengthen our bond with them. We love incorporating playtime, neighborhood walks, and even safe car rides to run errands—giving your pup the chance to explore new sights, smells, and experiences in a positive way. Every interaction is an opportunity to keep them happy, engaged, and loved!

Hi there! We’re Maryjane & Dominic—your trusted team behind Legendary Pet Care 🐾 We’re based in Hollister, CA, where we live with our children and care for pets full-time. With over 3 years of experience on Rover (and even more outside of it), we’ve had the joy of meeting and caring for many amazing pet families. From energetic huskies to gentle guinea pigs, we’ve cared for a wide variety of animals and continue to grow our knowledge every day. We love outdoor adventures—hiking, biking, and exploring from the mountains to the beach—and we bring that same energy and passion to the pets we care for.

Maryjane accommodated a last minute pet sitting request and I’m super grateful. Willow is the happiest with her! I feel at ease knowing my puppy is in good care. Will definitely request from Maryjane and Dominic again!

This was our first time using doggy daycare. We are traveling and brought our dogs on our vacation, thank the heavens for Maryjane and Dominic and Rover for putting us together. Such a great experience. And really relieved that the dogs got such wonderful care. Will definitely use Rover again along our travel and 100% Maryjane and Dominic when we are back this way. Really thank you for opening up your house and for your time.
