I follow any regulations or information provided for the pet specifically to ensure safety such as medications . I make sure to learn the animals behaviors as well as take things at the animals pace to ensure safety on both ends. I also use my animal science knowledge from college as I am an animal science student.

I am a current college student on summer break! I have three household pets with one being my cat. I fit my schedule around theirs as I know routine builds a great foundation!
