Safety, trust & environment
Safety and comfort are always the first priority. When I’m caring for a pet in their own home, I try to keep everything as familiar as possible — their usual routines, feeding schedule, walking routes, and the places they love to nap. I make sure doors and windows are secure, and I never take chances with anything that could put them at risk. I’m big on communication too: I’ll update you regularly with photos, little notes about how they’re doing, and anything new I notice in their behavior. It’s important that you feel just as at ease as your pet does.

Information Maryia N. would like to know about your pet
It really helps me to know the essentials upfront so I can give your pet the best care possible. Things like their usual routine, feeding schedule, favorite treats, and any quirks in their behavior. If they have allergies, medications, or anything they’re scared of, definitely let me know. And of course, how they handle other animals or new people on walks. Basically, the more I understand their personality and what makes them feel comfortable (or uncomfortable), the smoother and happier our time together will be.
A typical day
I like to keep pets happy and entertained in whatever way they enjoy most. For dogs, that usually means fun walks, fetch in the park, little training games, or sniffy enrichment activities that get their minds working. If they’re more of a cuddle-on-the-sofa type, I’m totally down for that too. For cats, I’ll follow their mood, from feather toys to calm hangouts and gentle pets when they’re feeling affectionate.

Pet care experience
I’ve lived with dogs pretty much my whole life — from tiny, spirited dachshunds and Yorkshire terriers to strong-willed Alaskan malamutes, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Over the past 2 years, I’ve also been pet sitting professionally within my community, looking after a wide range of breeds, including the more “tricky” or anxious ones. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and routines to make sure pets feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. I’m always learning more about training and positive reinforcement, and I’m quick to adapt to each pet’s unique style. Animals usually warm up to me fast — I love building trust and finding that perfect way to connect with them. Your furry friend is way more than a responsibility to me — they’re a little personality to get to know, spoil, and keep happy while you’re away.

Reviews

Maryia has been an absolute superstar with Blake. Caring, flexible and always keeping me well updated.

Mariya was great. Willesden had lovely time with lots of walks. She was really helpful and flexible about pick up and drop off times. Would definitely leave Willesden with her again.
Maryia was an amazing sitter for my dog. She was attentive, reliable, and truly caring from the very first moment. My pup loved spending time with her, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Maryia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet caregiver.
I booked Maria to look after my dog and cat while I was travelling for two months this summer, and I was very happy with how it went. The pets seemed content, I received regular updates on them, and everything was in perfect condition when we returned.
