My name is Maryela and I have always been a huge animal lover. I have been surrounded by pets my entire life. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other rodents. I have been very fortunate to care for very young animals and those that are in senior stages of their lives. Regardless of their age, all animals have unique needs when being cared for. My empathic nature is well aligned with caring for animals. I know how hard it can be on us to be away from our furry family members so rest assured I will care for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to get those daily pictures when we are apart from our pets. I also understand how hard it is on our furry friends when we are apart from them and so being extra understanding of their emotional needs is a top priority for me!

Schedule
I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. I work Monday- Friday from 8 am -5 pm. I am available from 6-7 am and from 6-9 pm for drop-in visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I am available for drop-in visits any time on Tuesdays, Fridays, and on the weekends. I am available for daycare on Tuesdays, Fridays, and on the weekends. I am available for boarding Monday - Sunday.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and a doggy door. I have a friendly 3-year-old Shih Tzu that will keep your pet company but also understands if your pet does not want to play. I can crate pets as needed but I usually let pets free roam. Your pet is welcome to sit on my couch and relax! When I visit your home I will meticulously follow any instructions you leave to take care of your pets. I can clean litter boxes, administer medicine, feed your pet, walk your pet, etc. and most importantly they will receive deserved love and attention!

A typical day
At my home, I have a ball pit I set up for pets to play in. My dog Morgi is a great companion and loves making new friends. She is really great at understanding when other dogs want to be left alone and she will go and take a nap instead. I love playing with dogs and their toys. Getting some exercise and playtime in the fenced backyard is also a great time.
