MissAdventure: active outdoorsy fun
Over 3 decades of pet ownership and care. Very active outdoorsy person, will give your special person(s) lots of love and careful attention. I am out exercising daily, so love high energy dogs who love to walk and run with me and enjoy the forest trails or playing at the beach. Also experienced with older senior/sensitive dogs that need a slower pace and calm energy. Every dog is different, so I will get to know them best through you. Will do my best to uphold established training and routines, as consistency is comforting for them. I have taken dog behavioural classes, to gain a better understanding; also have learned dog commands in several different languages. Used to dealing with behavioural and health issues, allergies, special diets and medicine too. If any issues (arising from anxiety for example) were ever to come up with your pet, it is solved with kindness, calm and reassurance. While you are away, there will be lots of photos and communication, and your loved one will be cared for as if they were part of my family.

Maryanne took great care of my dog during the holidays - she kept me very up to date, sent lots of photos, and he loved spending time with her. Arlo can be unpredictable with other dogs, and particularly doesn't like small dogs. Maryanne avoided close contact with other dogs on their walks and ensured Arlo was never put in an unpredictable situation. She made me feel at ease on my vacation, and I trusted her fully with Arlo's care. She left my place clean and even washed my sheets for me! I would highly recommend Maryanne to care for your pets!
Great house sitting experience with Maryanne. She took good care of my cat and senior dog. Sent me lots of pics and kept me updated on how they were doing. She was very flexible with the handoff as my nephew was house sitting for me the last couple days of my trip which I really appreciated. House was spotless too, she really did a great job!
Maryanne is an amazing and kind dog sitter. I am very confident that my pups (and home) were very well looked after while we were away. I would definitely recommend her and hope that she could sit for our pups again. She kept us updated on their actions throughout the day and provided lots of cute photos – I was reassured that they were in good hands.
Maryanne made the experience fantastic for us and our nervous boy. She sent regular pictures and updates putting our mind at ease so we could enjoy our time away. Max was so happy and well cared for. Will definitely look to book again.
So much great communication from Maryanne. And lots of photos and observations on Gordie’s demeanor. Would definately recommend Maryanne and will look forward to when she can look after Gordie again.
