I booked Maryann to stay in my home with my elderly Toy Poodle that has end stage renal failure and is in precarious condition, which I explicitly expressed and emphasized. An unexpected trip came up and my regular wonderful sitter, Debra, wasn't available. I returned to find a dirty kitchen with food spills on the counter, sink, stove and floor from cooking that had been done and dried dog food on the floor from the bowl, a glob of body wash/conditioner/shampoo? in the tub and hair on the floor, tub and sink, a plastic food wrapper on the floor by the sofa and worse, to a soiled pet bed that seems to have been soiled for more than just that morning and a dog with feces still on her rear-end. I also discovered that the comfortable bed I had set up for this sitter with fresh, clean linens was not slept in. Apparently the sofa had been used (because the dog bed in the bedroom had been soiled and it smelled?). After cleaning the house, laundering the dirty bedding, and bathing the dog and removing the feces, I discovered the dog's anus was severely swollen, red and inflamed and she was in pain because of it. The dog has had feces stuck in her hair before but it has never caused this reaction although I always removed it or bathed her within a couple hours at least. I also discovered the bedding in the spare room to be disrupted, with all the bed pillows and sham placed differently than I left it. I asked if someone else slept there and Maryann replied she placed her luggage on the bed. However, doing so should not have necessitated moving any of the pillows. And if they were moved, then to where? The floor??? Because my pet has become less willing to eat, I made several suggestions such as administering Entyce and/or opening a new can of food. A new can was not opened and Maryann did not mention giving the Entyce nor does it appear as though it was used. I can say that after leaving Saturday, I had contacted the vet to see if they thought my dog should receive some fluids and Maryann took the dog in to the vet for this. I gave her 2 stars instead of 1 because of this. Because Maryann had to leave almost after arriving Saturday, work Sunday 10-4 and then needed to rush out Monday due to another booking, it seemed as though she was time crunched and over-booked with other obligations, so much so as to not really be able to care for a sick, senior pet that needed lots of time and attention.

I have an English Bulldog and 2 cats so I am very picky about people taking care of my animals, especially my dog. I am the first person Maryann started overnight pet sitting for more than 3 years ago and she has been exactly what a a pet owner could hope for and more. She has a true love for animals and spends so much time loving on them and playing with them- even when it's just my cats. She is extremely trustworthy, caring, reliable, and dependable. She has been a lifesaver! Another one of my favorite qualities about Maryann would be that she is self sufficient and a great problem solver. When she stays at my apartment complex she is able to handle situations that arise without having to get me involved (ie: parking situations, package deliveries, maintenance issues) She has been available to me last minute many times. Maryann also sends me pictures and videos of my babies during her stay which I truly appreciate.

Maryann is great! It’s hard to find someone to trust with your fur baby and especially after several bad experiences in the past I have struggled with it. But Maryann made me feel at ease with how she kept me updated with Snapchat videos. Seeing Chloe run around and being outside made me even more comfortable that Maryann is going to be my forever rover girl ?

Maryann is so amazing with my dogs. I have two English Bulldogs and a teddy bear. She is very reliable and I highly recommend her! She truly loves animals and treats them like her own

Maryann has several dogs herself and and she is always sending pictures of her taking them on cool walks at different places. She likes to take them to the beach to run around and play in the sand and water. Besides the fact that she herself is an awesome person and loves to be outdoors, these are just some of the reasons why she would be a great dog walker and love your pets.

Maryann is extremely reliable first and foremost! She treats your pets like her own and will follow any special requests you may have. She gets along with any animal, but my doggies love when comes to play-for a day or maybe a week! She’s amazing!! I highly recommend her!
