I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s individual personality, quirks, and routine. I’m caring, patient, reliable, and treat every dog like I would my own. I also have firsthand experience caring for dogs with medical needs, as my former dog had epilepsy, so I understand the importance of closely following medication schedules, recognizing changes in behavior, and staying calm when a pet needs extra care. I’ve cared for dogs at all stages of life, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I’m comfortable with breeds that may need more individualized attention, including French Bulldogs and Italian Greyhounds. Above all, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. I’m attentive to instructions and routines and will make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Mary and Zach are both dog people. They have taken care of my Cocker Spaniel as well as their own pups and you can see how a dog enriches their lives. It is important for them to give a dog live its best life. I have known Mary longer, and as a little girl she’d play and take care of friends and neighbors dogs. She even asked for a dog as a high school graduation present. They set behavioral boundaries for dogs and also welcome them on the furniture for a snuggle. I always trust them to take good loving care of my dog.

Schedule
I work full time but live just 6 minutes from my office, so I’m often able to come home over lunch. My husband works flexible hours as a realtor and is home during the day as well, so your pet will have consistent care and company throughout the day. I typically leave for work around 7:00–7:15 AM and am home by 4:30 PM at the latest. We’re happy to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and walks throughout the day, depending on their individual routine and needs.

We have a fully fenced-in yard and live in a very walkable, dog-friendly neighborhood, making it easy to provide both outdoor playtime and regular walks. I’m happy to care for dogs in our home or in their own home, depending on what makes them most comfortable. I’m also available for dog walking and can tailor walks to each dog’s age, energy level, and routine. Our toddler has grown up around dogs—she’s had two dogs at home and two at daycare—so she absolutely loves them and is very comfortable around dogs. We currently don’t have any pets of our own, which means we can give your dog lots of one-on-one attention. We want every dog in our care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and included as part of the family while they’re with us.
A typical day
A typical day is all about making sure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and included! We live in a great walking neighborhood with parks, walking paths, and plenty of interesting smells to explore. We also have a large, fully fenced-in yard where dogs can safely play, explore, sunbathe, or just mosey around and sniff at their own pace. Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, our day can include neighborhood walks, backyard playtime, enrichment, or plenty of cuddles and relaxing. We also have a pool that dogs are welcome to enjoy with their owner’s permission. Any pool time is always closely monitored and supervised. I’m happy to tailor our days to your dog’s normal routine and personality, whether they’re an energetic pup who loves to play and explore or a senior who prefers a slower pace and lots of attention.
