I usually log in around 7am but then I would be able to take pup out for a little walk before being back at my desk. A little lunch break stroll and then after work walk - weather permitting we can go for a walk in Heaton park and have a play there. I also live close to a small field where it’s a short walk away for quick lunchtime run. A doggy small enough to cuddle on my lap as I work too would be lovely.

I have enough space for a crate in my flat if needed. I’m super careful when looking after other dogs to clear big things with them or google what they can and can’t eat. I have a car too so if I’m out and it’s a dog friendly place I’d be happy to take them with me.

Information Mary Y. would like to know about your pet
I prefer small to medium sized breed dogs as my flat is a 2 bed flat so not big. They need to be leash trained and ideally good call back. I’m happy for them to cuddle with me at night if they need reassurance. If there is any special requests such as medicine etc please let me know in advanced. Please also supply all the required things such as dog beds, food / bowls, toys they usually use to ensure they settle in.
A typical day
I’m up by 7am, usually log in at 8 so between 7-8am I can take the pup for a walk. Lunch time too. Then after work - I like to take a walk around Heaton park or prestiwch forest park. For kitties happy to do some parkour at home😂 or if you have cats that like to be on leads I have a shared enclosed garden we can have a little walk around

Pet care experience
I don’t have my own pets but I’ve dog and cat sitted for family, friends and neighbours. I’m a puppy yoga teacher and live close to a big park. I work from home so companionship would be lovely and tend to enjoy walks around parks so your pup will get plenty of love and attention as well as outdoor walks! I live in a flat by myself so no need to check with anyone else on if I can take a dog in. Preferred corgi size and smaller as it’s a small two bed flat.

Mary pet sits our shy girl and has quickly become a firm favourite. She's active so our spaniel loves her visits already but also gives really good cuddles from all the photos of our happy pup we get sent. She's really diligent with feeding instructions, and sends the right amount of updates and photos so we know we don't need to worry. The biggest testimonial is honestly how excited my dog gets when she sees her now. She's not normally a crier, but Mary gets a few tears when she leaves. I always know she's in good hands if she's staying at Mary's.
Mary has looked after my cat around four times now, including overnight stays, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. My cat adores her and always comes home relaxed, content and tired from all the playtime. As Mary works from home, there was always plenty of company, attention and reassurance throughout the day (as well as pictures and videos) which put my mind at ease that my cat was having a good time. Mary has plenty of cat experience and I’m aware she has even looked after a cat for longer periods. It’s such a comfort knowing my cat being looked after as if she were Mary’s own.
My pet cat, Mouse, really enjoys spending time with Mary when she pet sits for me. Mouse is quiet particular with people and Mary is great with her and knows how to help her feel comfortable and happy.
