A couple of days before she was to sit with my dogs and spend the night, she had a family situation that needed her home overnight and offered her boyfriend to stay over with my dogs. I was able to meet the boyfriend before the sitting started. The situation threw me off with the comfortability of who was going to be in my house. I believe ROVER sitters have background checks. I realize family situations happen and everything is fine but if something would have happened if the person hired wasn’t here, ROVER’s agreement would be null and void.
Mary took great care of my dogs while we were gone for a week. She sent us pictures of both dogs every morning and evening which helped us to know they were in good hands.
It's comforting to know that the dogs got their medication on time, were fed on their regular schedule and went outside at appropriate intervals. We were happy to get pictures through out the day. The house was clean and tidy when we returned.
Mary did a great job taking care of our 2 dogs! She showed up promptly, paid attention carefully to all our instructions, and sent pictures. One of our dogs is a 3 month old puppy and required a lot more intensive oversight and Mary handled him with no issues.

Mary was great! She’s on time, responds quickly to texts, and did exactly what I asked her to do! Dexter enjoyed her company.

I’m available through the week I can come to your home to make sure your fur baby isn’t alone and would be comfortable in your own home.
