This practice of restricting water intake to minimize peeing indoors is dangerous and cruel so, I can't, in good conscience, bring myself to participate in this kind of regimen. According to the cops I spoke with down the street, it's actually illegal to not allow pets unencumbered access to water under the NYS Animal Cruelty laws.
