Pet care experience
I’m a designer by trade but my real passion are animals. I have loved animals all of my life. I grew up with a dog and two cats. I have lived with and cared for 4 cats and 3 dogs at different stages of my life in the past 18 years. I lost my 18 year old bestie, Oliver, this year. Five years ago, he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism followed by heart mummer, kidney disease, and gingivitis. We had to administer 4 types of pills daily, biweekly IV and a regimented diet and vitamin routine. As I’m morning Olie and looking for a companion for Nala, I’m an currently volunteering at the Charleston Animal Society. I and have my dog walking handling training.

Mary was super easy to work with and ginger was happy when we came home. Mary was accommodating in arranging a video call before our appointment so we could kind of meet her before her visit. We appreciated the time she took to do that. Felt immediately comfortable with her. This was an out of town visit for us and our first use of rover but will for sure come back to the app and to Mary if we come back to the area.
Great communication throughout the stay and plenty of exercise.
Mary is great! My cat might love her more than me!

I have a fenced in yard for your dog to run around. I prefer to only keep cats or small to medium size dogs as I do not have too much space inside my house at the time.

Does you dog have anxiety? What type of atmosphere are they most comfortable in? Are they good with other people? Are they good with other dogs on the street? Would you be comfortable with your dog going to the dog park or beach?
A typical day
I would love to take your dog walking down my favorite streets downtown. We would go around smelling all the smells and stop at a parks along the way to play games. When tired, we can just lay around the grass getting tummy rubs until it’s time to go home.

Availability
I work full time but I am free after 6pm Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, I am free after 12pm and free on the weekends. I often go on morning and evening walks and would love a furry companion to walk with! I will happily share text update, photos and/or video of your fur babies with you during our sessions!
