Pet care experience

About Me Having grown up with dogs for most of my life, I understand that a pet is a family member who deserves undivided attention and care. In my professional life, I am a Special Education Teacher, a role that has gifted me with immense patience, a calm demeanor, and the ability to follow strict routines to the letter. While I don’t currently have animals of my own, I channel my lifelong passion into being the trusted, go-to walker and sitter for friends and family. The Benefit of Undivided Attention Since my home is currently pet-free, your dog or cat receives my 100% devotion without any distractions. I have extensive experience with multi-pet households, managing everything from high-energy play sessions for large dogs to the specific, quieter needs of independent cats. Whether it’s maintaining a strict feeding schedule or providing extra cuddles, I treat every pet with the same love and respect I gave my own for years. Services & Personalized Care Focused Dog Walking: Tailored to your dog’s energy level and sensory needs. Drop-In Visits: Ideal for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime. Reliable Communication: I am highly communicative and will send frequent photo updates so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. My Availability I balance my love for animals with my full-time teaching career, which means I have a very consistent and predictable schedule: Mornings: Available Monday & Wednesday mornings for early walks/feedings (before 7 am). Evenings: Available Tuesday nights and Friday afternoons (after 4:00 PM). Weekends: I am fully available every other weekend, from Friday evening after 4 pm through Monday at 7:00 AM. Bonus Holiday & Summer Availability: As a teacher, I have extended flexibility during Spring and Winter breaks, as well as major holidays. I am also very open and available this coming summer for more frequent walks and drop-ins! Possible boarding and house sitting in the summer.

Mary took amazing care of my dog, Zeke, while I was away. She went above and beyond when she noticed he had developed a head tilt and immediately took him to the emergency vet. When he still wasn’t improving after a few days, she followed up with his regular veterinarian to make sure he received the care he needed. Mary kept me informed every step of the way with detailed updates, photos, and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind during a stressful situation. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Zeke and treated him as if he were her own dog. I am incredibly grateful for her attentiveness, compassion, and dedication. I 100% recommend Mary to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, and I will absolutely book with her again whenever she’s available!

Mary was an absolutely wonderful caregiver for my dog, Zeke. She provided both doggie daycare on multiple occasions as well as boarding, and each time she was reliable, communicative, and made the entire experience stress-free. Throughout the time she cared for him, she sent plenty of photo updates, which really gave me peace of mind knowing he was doing well and having a great time. Mary was always easy to reach and responded quickly whenever I had a question. It was clear she genuinely cared about Zeke and made sure he was comfortable and happy. When I picked him up, he seemed relaxed, content, and like he truly enjoyed his time with her. I would highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for a responsible, attentive, and loving pet caregiver. I would absolutely trust her to care for Zeke again in the future.

Mary has dog-sat for our two Labrador retrievers, Daisy and Bella, several times, and she has been wonderful every time. Anyone who knows Labs knows they can be a lot of energy, but Mary handled them with patience, care, and genuine affection. It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Daisy and Bella were happy, well cared for, and comfortable when we returned. I would absolutely trust Mary to watch our dogs again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring dog sitter.
