A White Oak Vacation
I have been caring for and loving dogs for 50 years. Our guest dogs have a fun time here at White Oak. I give the best of care in my lovely home which is close to Rehoboth, Lewes and Dewey. We have a great outdoor partially fenced area and a wrap-around screened- in porch which provides for lots of supervised outdoor time if they want it. I leash walk in my neighborhood. Your dog must be comfortable on a leash with no pulling. I work hard at keeping your dog safe and happy. I generally host overnight only four dogs at a time so I can give them lots of attention and love. Being home full time gives me the opportunity to get to know your dog and give your dog the vacation that you would like her/him to have. My policies are: Day care: maximum 8 hours- $40.00 Overnight care: 24 hours- $50.00. The latest arrival and pick up time is 8 pm. The earliest is 7 am. I usually do not answer overnight and daycare requests after 8 pm. We are sleeping by 9 pm. But we are early risers- We can communicate anytime after 5 am. Looking forward to caring for your dog.

This was the first time I used Mary Sue to watch our 12 year old Havanese. I scheduled a meet and greet and she made us feel super comfortable with her patience and handling of the dogs that were there. She sent daily updates with photos which were helpful and eased my worry. She definitely has an abundance of experience and knowledge with dogs, a genuine dog-lover. Will definitely use her again.
Mary Sue was a pleasure lady who has an obvious love of dogs. Ozzie is very skittish, but he seemed to adapt well. She even let him sleep with her! I would definitely recommend her.
Mary Sue was the best sitter for our dog Lexi who is 12 and had never stayed away from home before. Lexi spent a week with Mary Sue and her granddaughters and they took such great care of her. Mary Sue communicated multiple times a day with written updates and pictures which was a nice touch. We were even able to coordinate a mid week pick-up to take Lexi to the beach for a few hours. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend Mary Sue!
Mary Sue stayed in communication with me throughout Rocky's stay! She provided a safe and loving environment for Rocky and I would definitely recommend her.

Schedule
I am retired. I have plenty of time to care for your dog. I am not available over thanksgiving or Christmas holidays. But the rest of the year- I’m here.

I have a wonderful screened in wrap around porch that the dogs can play on. I am with them most of the time. We are playing or loving.

A typical day
We can play on the porch. I take 3 walks a day with each dog. One is not quite a mile and 2 are about 1/2 mile each.

- What is the weight of your dog? I am happy to care for dogs that are 50lbs and under since I leash walk and often have smaller dogs visiting. Is your dog a pit bull or pit bull mix? I do not take care of the pit bull or pit bull mixes. Unfortunately, I have had two bad experiences with this breed and mix.
