I am crazy about dogs....big ones, little ones, young ones & old ones. Taking care of dogs is a passion of mine. I love meeting new dogs and their owners. My husband and I live in a 2000 sq. foot home with a nice backyard & a pool in a beautiful neighborhood in Roseville. We are also minutes away from a dog park. At the present time we do not own a dog so the thought of taking care of someone else's is very appealing. Our household consists of my husband, Frank & myself. He also loves our doggie guests. I have been with Rover since 2015 and it has been a great experience. I only board one dog at a time so your pup will get all our attention and love. We have many repeat clients so when a dog comes back to stay they are really excited. We'll take your dog for a walk, play fetch, play in the pool or just lounge around. Looking forward to meeting you & your pup.

Toby did very well with his first sleepover with Mary. We feel very comfortable leaving Toby with Mary as she is very devoted to him as I am sure she is to all that are in her care. Susie

Mary and her husband took great care of our dog Cece! They kept her well entertained despite it being a rainy weekend. Mary sent nice updates each day and Cece seemed very happy and content upon coming home. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Information Mary S. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preference. All are welcome. I do appreciate knowing as much as possible about your dog though. It helps me to create a comfortable atmosphere. Please be aware that I do work a part-time job so if you prefer someone to be with your dog at all times I obviously won't be the best sitter for you. I need to know that your dog is ok with being left alone for small periods of time. Also, your dog MUST sleep through the night. Please be sure to fill out the itinerary and the pet instructions portion on Rover’s web site. When making your request please include drop-off and pick-up times. This will help me to plan accordingly. **ATTENTION: Rover charges per each 24 hour increment. For this reason, if your dog is picked up past the time they were originally dropped off, there will be a daycare rate charge. Example; dog is dropped off at 9 am on Friday and picked up at 2 pm on Sunday , you would be charged for 2 nights and 1 daycare rate per dog.**
A typical day
I am very relaxed and flexible in terms of my dog-sitting style. The dogs may sit on our furniture and roam the house. We want the dogs to feel comfortable and right at home.

I work a part-time job so your dog will not be left alone longer than 4 hrs. Bedtime for us is early, usually 9-9:30 pm and I get up no later than 7:00 am.
