I have a spacious home. The home has a large fenced yard for your doggo to play with no issues: I am also pretty flexible and can stay at your place, just so your fur baby is comfy. We can most definitely accommodate to dogs, since we are in a backsplit home, with a fenced yard. I have a cat named Niko. Niko is pretty good with other dogs, as Milo lived with us. He mostly hangout in the basement, where it is cooler and also he is very shy and timid and prefers that.

The information that I would like to know about a dog ahead of time, is their temperament and how they do with other animals and people. Also any special care requests for the dog would be good to know, any medication specifications, etc.

We can check out my neighbourhood and go for walks frequently. I would consider myself pretty active, as I regularly do Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) and strength training at the gym. I try to go on daily walks anyways, to keep up cardio for boxing! We can play fetch in the backyard. There is a local school by my house where I see many dog walkers and trails that run behind the school. I used to take Milo here aka Milo’s Mile - we now call it in memory of him :’)

I’ve always grown up with animals. My family currently has 2 cats and one pug. I usually feed and walk the dog. There is lots of room for play time and walks! We have a fenced yard. *Update* Our beloved pug, Milo, who is seen in my profile pictures, has recently passed away on June 3rd, so it’s been quite devastating. His passing really prompted me to do more Rover gigs because I miss having a doggo around..

Mary took excellent care of our dogs and house while we were away. Our one pup had some medical issues while we were gone and Mary was quick with communication and took care of him for us. She provided daily updates, photos and flagged when some supplies were running low so I could order more. I would definitely recommend Mary to anyone looking for a responsive and responsible pet sitter.
Mary cares for your pet like they are her own. Our dog Harper is an energetic anxious rescue dog and Mary’s calm initial meeting with her helped us feel confident leaving her with Mary. Great communication and the occasional photo helped us feel at ease.
This was the first time using any dog-sitting app and our first time leaving our pet with anyone but family to go on a trip. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mary. From the first time we met her, her calm demeanour and confidence with the task at hand put us at ease that our senior rescue dog would be well-cared for! Mary provided daily updates and photos by text and responded to any additional messages from us to inquire how they were doing. We had Mary visit for a few hours two nights leading up to our departure to ensure both Annie and Mary were comfortable with each other. We also completed a questionnaire about Annie and our home to help Mary familiarize herself with routine, food and medicine protocols, emergency contacts etc. The Rover app was very easy to use and I ultimately selected Mary based on her excellent feedback and number of repeat customers. The app was great to filter requests/preferences and help narrow down the right match for us. I would highly recommend Mary to any apprehensive pet owner like ourselves. She made our trip enjoyable knowing everything was taken care of at home!
Super grateful for Mary! Kaia ended up being sick while we were away and Mary took such good care of her while we were gone. Thanks again for looking after our girl!
