Hi! I’m a recently retired teacher from Pinellas County Schools and am excited to begin a new chapter caring for pets in my community. Animals have always been an important part of my life. I’ve had dogs for most of my life, and today I share my home with two wonderful cats. Living with both dogs and cats has given me an appreciation for their different personalities and needs, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with both. As a teacher, I built my career on being dependable, patient, organized, and trustworthy. Those same qualities make me a caring and reliable pet sitter. I understand that every pet has its own routine, and I will follow your instructions carefully to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a visit, or caring for your pet in your home, I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I know how much our pets mean to us because mine are family too. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Safety, trust & environment
I believe pets are happiest when they can stay on their normal routine. When caring for your pet, I will follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and bedtime routines. I will treat your home with respect and your pet with patience, kindness, and plenty of attention. Safety is my top priority. I’ll always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure and will provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and well cared for.

Mary has always had a deep love for animals and has cared for them throughout her entire life. Growing up, she had a horse as well as many dogs and cats. As an adult, she has always had a dog or cat as part of her family. Mary truly considers her pets family and makes sure they are always well loved and cared for. She is compassionate, attentive, trustworthy, and organized, and she takes the responsibility of caring for animals very seriously. I have no doubt that she will provide your pets with the same love and care she gives her own. Mary is an exceptional pet sitter!! She is thoughtful, detailed, reliable and so caring! We love knowing she is with our fur baby when we’re away and he knows and recognizes her every time she comes over. Very highly recommend her!
Mary has been taking care of our Boston Terrier, Autumn, every time we go out of town, and we couldn’t be happier with her. She is caring, responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely loves animals. I have known Mary for quite some time and she is a pet lover like no other! She has had numerous dogs, two cats and a horse that she has nurtured, loved and cared for throughout their lifetimes. Mary is a retired teacher, patience, empathy and dedication have always been some of her most admirable qualities and this has always transferred from her students to any and all of God's creatures. Schedule
As a recently retired teacher, I have a very flexible schedule and can often accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. I enjoy keeping pets on their regular routines whenever possible and will work with you to provide dependable care that fits your schedule. Advance notice is always appreciated, but I will do my best to accommodate last-minute requests when I’m available.
