Pet care experience

Let's work together for your pet!

My main goal as a pet-sitter is to keep communication open and create an environment for your pet that is as close to his/her normal environment as possible! I am very flexible and wish to adhere to your personal beliefs and system as much as possible as I believe consistency is key for the happiness and well-being of both you and your pet. Personally, I've owned dogs/cats since early childhood and actively cared for them since my preteen years. During my teenage years, I worked as a kennel assistant. Further, I've fostered smaller animals, including ferrets, rabbits, rats, mice, guinea pigs, and even sugar gliders in the past. Currently, I live with my senior pitbull, Cooper, our two cats, Tweak and Franklin, and my two sons, ages 8 and 13. The cats are dog friendly, and Cooper is the sweetest boy who loves all animals. He has never shown any aggressive behaviors during his time with us, and in fact, he would let the cats steal his food and bed if I didn't keep them in check. I work from home so I am typically only unavailable during the times I need to drop off/pick up my children from school from 7am - 9am and 2:00pm-3:30pm. I would love to have the opportunity to get to know you and your pet while assisting you in making your time away from your pets as easy and fun as you both deserve!

Safety, trust & environment

I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a nature trail in our neighborhood that I use daily. As for other people's homes, I would rely on them to explain their ideal situation.

Mary gives great report cards with LOTS of photos! She has been very patient with one of our more timid pups. And she always goes the extra mile to make sure our pups are taken care of 😊

Dog Walking • May 17, 2026

Mary has been walking our dogs now for almost 2 years. I don’t trust my dogs with a lot of people but watching how excited they get when she comes in. Even my anti-social dog loves her. She always lets us know if something out of the ordinary happens, or even when all 4 dogs behave beautifully. I wouldn’t trade her for the world!

Mary is absolutely amazing! She is very caring, courteous, professional and is very attentive. She provides amazing updates and pictures and is also great and fast with communication. I moved from out of state and knew no one and needed someone to help me with my dog while I work. Mary was the best choice. HIGHLY recommend her!

Mary was so great with our pups, taking plenty of time to make sure they were comfortable around her. She send lots of pictures too, which is always appreciated!

Schedule

On an average weekday, I wake up and feed the pets. Inwalk my dog at 6am for 30 minutes (and pups hanging out over night would be included). I then get the kids to school from 7am-8:30am. During the day, I am typically home and available to do frequent potty breaks every couple hours or as needed. I pick up my kids from school between 2pm-3:30pm. I then walk my dog (and any other dogs in my care) for 30 minutes from 3:30-4pm. I give my dog dinner at 6pm, but I would certainly adhere to anyone else's preferred feeding schedules, as well. I do one last 30 minute walk at the end of the evening from 8pm-8:30pm. Again, potty breaks as needed happen throughout the day and if higher energy dogs require more frequent/longer walks, I can easily make that happen.

Anything that owner believes is important, first and foremost. I would also like to know any health conditions, medications, interactions with other animals or people, fears (i.e., thunder, vacuum, loud sounds, etc.).
