I can take care of your cat in your home. I can also do drop in visits with your dog and walk in your neighborhood or put them in my vehicle to take them to the park , beach or trail if you prefer. Keith and I can host your dog in our home as long as they are treated with flea medicine and up to date on all shots. We have hardwood floors so we are asking for trimmed nails. We have a very large fenced yard. We do live in an area with a lot of deer. For safety reasons, we prefer dogs that aren’t diggers. We like to do a meet and greet and spend some time with your dog to make sure they feel comfortable with us.
Information Mary S. would like to know about your pet
Every pet has a unique personality. Please let me know their preferences and or quirks and I will adapt and adjust to them. My goal is to safely take care of and or exercise your special friend.
A typical day
It all depends upon your dog's personality and age. If they are more of a snuggly pet, then that’s what we will do. If they are into balls or other toys, I’m up for that. I’d love to take them on walks in the neighborhood or beach or a hike. It really depends on what you feel comfortable with and what your dog prefers.

Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner all my life. All animals love me and respond to my care and touch. I loved my lab Ruby more than anything in the world so I can relate to how important your pet is to you. I am good with all animals of all ages and can give medication if needed. I love to go for walks with dogs or just play with them at your home.

Reviews

This was our first time using Rover, and first time leaving our two dogs with anyone other than family. Mary was at our house for a meet and greet with the pups well in advance of our 5-day, 4-night trip, and it was an obvious great connection from the first minute. She came back several days before our departure for a run-through of the house and dogs routine, which was very much appreciated. Mary was communicative (many photos and texts while we were away), professional and personable - just what we were hoping for when contacting Rover. We would not hesitate to have Mary at our home and taking great care of our two dogs in the future, and are already planning the next trip!
Mary S. cancelled a booking 3 days before it was scheduled to begin.

Mary was fantastic with my dogs and very responsive. I would highly recommend her to anyone and would personally ask her to watch my dogs again in the future.
Mary has stayed in our home and taken care of Millie twice now and we couldn’t be more happy with her care of both!
