I have a part Labrador part Pit bull dog myself. She is high energy and very playful and loving of other dogs and cats. So long as your dog is comfortable with her, I'd be able to provide a playmate. And if you have cats in your home my dog would be comfortable with them as well. Otherwise, I will give my undivided attention to your pet snuggling with them and making sure they're fed and played with or take them out on walks. If you have any specific instructions or wishes for me to kennel them I can do that as well. I'd also be happy to take pictures of how your pet is doing or me playing with them to help you feel more safe and happy seeing your friend is being cared for!

If they have any special needs / medications, if they are aggressive towards dogs or cats or humans. I'd love to know as well your dogs energy level so I can be prepared to match my energy to their's. However, if you're unsure of your dog's energy level that's completely okay.
A typical day
I love putting on YouTube and pulling up music that relaxes or stimulates dogs. It helps set the atmosphere, and especially if your dog has seperation anxiety it can calm them. I'll never be afraid to face a dog off in some tug of war, or play fetch for hours on end to help ensure they get their exercise. I also love taking dogs out to a nearby park to walk, or even Galesburg's Dog park thats by the YMCA is the best place to go and let dogs play and run to their hearts content. I understand the risks and dangers as well of exposing dogs to dog parks. So I'd only do so if I have your permission. Otherwise I'll stick to walking on sidewalks, trails, and or around a park!

I have experience with handling all types of breeds and sizes of dogs. I am also a certified dog groomer. I can provide a deeper kind of care for your dogs coat.I also have experience working at and managing daycare/boarding centers for dogs. It was my job to ensure all dogs were fed, given their medications, and were happy and loved on, of course. I've worked with all sorts of special needs dogs. Dogs who are blind, deaf, seniors, sadly missing a limb or bottom jaw, diagnosed with epilepsy, hip displasiea. I understand special needs dog especially need tender and loving care and I have the patience and understanding to ensure they receive that care. To me, dogs are more than just pets. They're families members who have emotions and needs just like anyone else. They are your precious family members, and I will treat them with the love and respect that they deserve when you are busy. I am very reliable and dependable, if I have any questions or concerns with your pet while I'm caring for them I will contact you. I also send daily pictures + a message on how your dog is doing so you are never kept out of the loop. Communication is key, and I will not hesitate to contact you. I hope that I get the honor to care for your furry-companion!

Excellent service for house sitting with a demanding male cat - Sabbat. I booked a 10-night stay with the best sitter to watch my cat. He was well taken care of during my absence and Mary went above and beyond my expectations! My cat loved her and is still looking for her..even his coat improved from so much petting and care. She tidied the house, washed the dishes, took care of my kitty, and covered all of the details. I have a complicated home and Mary took care of every single detail impeccably. SHE SENT MOVIES, VIDEOS, UPDATES! I COULD NOT HAVE WISHED FOR A BETTER SITTER. Mary was awesome....
