Please advise me of any behavioral or health issues that your dog has, and the typical protocols for dealing with them. Kindly also inform me if your dogs is typically friendly, neutral, or aggressive towards other dogs and towards other animals that we may encounter on walks such as cats, rats, birds, squirrels.
A typical day
DOG WALKS: Owners can specify if they prefer their dog to be walked along a specific route. Otherwise, I will walk your dog on routes that are pleasant for them such as varying the street route, parks, boardwalks, waterfronts, etc. depending on the neighborhood. CAT SITS/RABBITS: After required tasks are done, I provide socialization and interactive play for remainder of visit.

*My services are currently limited to clients in these areas: near L train; near B103; near B17; Manhattan; Canarise* I have been providing dog walking and petsitting services on an occasional basis for the past 20 years. Some of my past clients include the director of Farm Sanctuary, the director of Almost Home Animal Rescue & Adoption, and "the voice of west coast hip hop". I am currently a volunteer dog walker at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center (municipal shelter). Up until losing their battle with cancer in 2013, I was the pet parent of 2 wonderful large dogs, both of whom I found on the street. My combined personal, professional, and shelter experience has allowed me to care for a wide variety of dogs who vary greatly in terms of size, strength, exercise needs, leash manners, health status, behavioral issues, age, and personality. I look forward to providing your dog, cat or rabbit with care that meets their exercise needs and emotional needs to the fullest extent. As of September 2023, I can only accept requests from locations that are easily accessible from the L train, B103, B17 or within Canarsie.

Mary is great and truly cares about cats. She goes above and beyond to make sure our cats are safe and taken care of while we are away. She also recommended products for an issue we are battling. I hope she is available everytime we need a sitter.
Mary is so kind and thorough. She brought cute new toys for my cats and they love them. She does a great job and always cleans around the litter box so it’s not a mess when I get back. We love Mary!
