Hi! I’m a local woman with years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I approach every animal with deep love, respect, & a strong sense of responsibility—safety and comfort are always my priorities. I’m currently studying psychology through online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and an attentive, thoughtful approach to pet care. One of my favorite things to do is get outside, so if your dog loves adventure, I’d be happy to take them on trail runs or hikes with me!

When caring for pets in my home, I prioritize their safety and comfort above all. I create a calm, secure environment that’s free from hazards (no loose cords, toxic plants, or access to unsafe areas). I make sure each pet has their own space to decompress, especially for cats or anxious dogs. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, medication, and rest, and I keep in close communication with you throughout their stay—updates, photos, anything that gives you peace of mind. I never leave dogs unattended outside, and I make sure doors, gates, and windows are always secure. I also do slow, supervised introductions if there are other animals in the home (or none at all if your pet needs solo time). My goal is to make every pet feel safe, seen, and genuinely cared for while you’re away.

Mary Rose was fantastic! We booked our 2 elderly dogs with her on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. She was kind, attentive, and very understanding and patient with our dogs. I appreciate her so much!
Moki was well and lovingly cared for in my home. Maryrose kept me updated daily with pictures of their daily trail runs and walks. Maryrose’s has a special connection with animals that put Moki at ease right away. I will continue the trail runs as Moki is more energized and feeling like a pup again! I would highly recommend her.
Mary Rose was very responsive and able to squeeze us in last minute, which we greatly appreciated! She kept us updated throughout the stay, and provided plenty of walks and activities for our pup. She was also flexible and easy to work with when arranging pick ups and drop offs. Would definitely recommend, and we hope to take advantage of her services again in the future!
