I have been walking dogs and taking care of pets during the day for 17 years now, and I spend my evenings drawing and painting pets for commissions as a pet portrait artist. It’s all about the animals with me!

I would love to come to your home and walk your dog in your neighborhood, or perhaps drive them to a close by favorite walking area. Some dogs have invisible fence collars, and need to be driven off the property, or they live on busy streets, that are not safe streets to walk on. I can drive them to a quiet side street or a park, if you prefer. You can request a feeding, if you would like, and I could do a quick scan of the house for any unexpected accidents, and clean them up for you. I can do drop-in visit (15 minutes), or a full 30 minute walk or play in the yard. More time can be requested, if necessary. For cat care, I can clean the litter boxes, feed your cat/refresh their water, and play or cuddle with them. I can also take a quick scan of the house for messes for them also.

Please let me know if your pet has any aggressive tendencies or triggers. Likewise, if there is something they really enjoy a lot, please let me know that also. Lastly, if there is any medication to be administered, I would like to know that ahead of time also.
A typical day
I love going on long walks with pups. I also love playing with them in the yard, or working on basic training with them. I will keep your active pet stimulated, but if they are a bit older, we can take it easy, and move at a slower pace. I always enjoy cuddles with pets too, if they are cuddlers also. I will meet your dog or cat wherever they are.

Our pets are a very special part of our families. They each have their own quirks and personalities, and they all bring so much love and joy to our lives. I will meet your pet’s needs, and spend time with them in the way they like the most. I have been a dog walker and pet care provider for 17 years now, and I still love my job! Each pet that I meet makes me smile. I like to think that I am able to give some of the happiness these animals bring to me, back to them. Over my 17 years of being a pet care provider, I have had experience with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages -from puppies to seniors. I am fully insured. I am willing to work with your pup on basic training, or put them in my car, for a short drive to a favorite walking area. If you need me to feed your dog or cat, please let me know. I can also spend time playing or cuddling with your dog or cat. When I am not enjoying the company of pets, I am drawing or painting pet portraits for commissions. I look forward to meeting your special pet. I will give them the activity, affection, and attention that is right for them. I am dependable, professional and most of all, caring. You can count on me to take good care of your pet, and you can feel confident, knowing that your pet is in exceptional hands, when you are not able to take care of them yourself.

Mary has been part of our puppy family for over 16 years. She has brought so much affection and love for my dogs over these years. From puppies to Seniors she has been a huge help in their wellbeing. She has come twice a week and walks them on our fenced property and of course gives them lots of cuddles too. Mary's active spirit, passion for the outdoors, and easy going nature has been a wonder for us all. I know when I am not home they are getting the best care during her visits. She had taken care of my golden doodle and wire haired dachshund until ages 12 and 15, and now my second pair, 11 and 4! She is upbeat no matter the weather, reliable, responsible and tidy. She makes sure to wipe their paws and bodies, fill their water bowl, leave their tongs, crate them if needed. Mary sends photos and communicates with me each time she departs. Mary is the best, we have used her for many years and trust her with our dog and home completely. Our large Leonberger Bella loves her visits and walks with Mary, and is always excited to see her. Mary is easy to work with and takes great care of our dog and my sons dog also when he's visiting. Its great to have her available especially when something comes up to cover us.
