I’ve been house and pet sitting full time for years now, mostly through Trusted Housesitters, and I’ve built up a solid amount of five-star reviews along the way. I’ve looked after everything from a single dog on a mango farm in Mexico to a full rescue farm in Spain two dogs, five cats, five goats, two turkeys, a pig and thirty chickens, all at once. Add in dogs, cats, rats, rabbits and fish across Guatemala, Peru, France, Dubai, Switzerland, Germany, Cyprus, Australia, the Netherlands and the UK, each one teaching me something new. I’ve always loved animals. I’ve volunteered at shelters, fostered pets, and since I’m on the go pretty often, pet sitting is a great way to keep myself surrounded by furry friends. When I’m looking after someone’s pets, the goal is pretty simple: keep their routine normal, keep them happy, give them plenty of cuddles, and leave the house exactly as I found it, maybe even a little cleaner.
