I’m a lifelong animal lover with more than 40 years of experience owning and caring for pets. I currently have two dogs of my own—Tank, a sweet cockapoo, and Simba, a friendly golden retriever—and I also care for many cats through my regular drop-in clients. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. After nearly two decades as a real estate and property management brokerage owner, I’m now partially retired from real estate and have made dog walking and pet drop-in care my primary work. What started as an opportunity to spend more time doing something I genuinely enjoy has grown into a regular business that I love. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, large dogs, multiple-pet households, and pets with detailed routines. I can assist with feeding, oral medications, potty and litter routines, playtime, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of affection and companionship. I’m very active and especially enjoy working with dogs who benefit from longer, purposeful walks. At the same time, I understand that every pet is different. Some dogs need to burn off energy, others prefer a leisurely sniff-filled stroll, and some pets are happiest with playtime and attention at home. I tailor my care to the individual pet rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Cats are an important part of my pet-care business as well. I understand that caring for a cat is about more than filling a food bowl and scooping litter. I take the time to learn each cat’s personality and routine, whether that means interactive play, brushing and affection, or simply providing quiet companionship and allowing a more reserved cat to approach on their own terms. Above all, I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy getting to know the animals in my care. My goal is to give your pets consistent, thoughtful care while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands.

I understand that trusting someone with your pet also means trusting them in your home. Before making pet care my primary work, I spent nearly two decades as a real estate and property management brokerage owner, where clients trusted me with their homes and some of their largest investments. I bring that same professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and respect for your property to every visit. I carefully follow the instructions you provide for feeding, medications, walks, potty or litter routines, gates, doors, alarms, and anything else specific to your home or pet. I also pay attention to changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems unusual and will communicate with you if I notice something concerning. For walks, safety always comes first. I tailor the length and pace to the individual dog and take their age, health, temperament, leash behavior, breed, size, and weather conditions into consideration. I believe good communication is an important part of trustworthy pet care, so you can expect updates and photos during my visits. My goal is for you to feel confident that both your pets and your home are being well cared for while you’re away.

Schedule
Dog walking and pet drop-in care are a primary part of my work and daily routine. I’m partially retired from my career in real estate, so I’m not trying to fit pet visits around a traditional 9-to-5 job. This gives me the flexibility to accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits and to provide consistency for my regular clients. I especially welcome recurring clients who need dependable weekly walks or drop-ins, as well as families who need multiple daily visits while traveling. Because pet care is a regular part of my schedule, I’m able to plan my days around the pets in my care and their normal routines whenever possible. I’m very active myself, so I also enjoy longer walks with dogs who need additional exercise. Walk length and pace are always based on the individual dog and adjusted for age, health, breed, size, energy level, and Florida weather.

- Every pet has their own personality and routine, and the more I know beforehand, the better I can make their visits feel familiar and comfortable. For dogs, I’d like to know about their normal routine, temperament and energy level, leash behavior, favorite activities, and how they typically react to other dogs, people, wildlife, bicycles, or anything else we might encounter on a walk. Please also let me know about any fears, triggers, escape tendencies, health concerns, medications, mobility limitations, or behaviors I should be aware of. For cats, I’d love to know their normal feeding and litter routine, favorite toys or activities, where they tend to hide, and whether they usually enjoy interaction with new people or prefer some space. Please let me know if there are any behaviors or habits that might seem unusual to someone who doesn’t know them but are completely normal for your cat. For all pets, I appreciate knowing their feeding instructions, medications or health considerations, veterinarian and emergency information, and any household instructions that will help me care for your pet and home exactly as you would.
