Long time dog owner, loves to walk
Over the past 35 years, we've had three dogs who lived to 13, 14 and 15 years. We are very familiar with older dogs as well as young dogs and enjoy playing with dogs. After the loss of our last dog, Lucy, we decided to take a break from having another dog as we were empty nesters. We love dogs and were encouraged by our grown children to try Rover. We live on a quiet street near the York Harbor Beach and our house is far from the road with woods all around us. I am a regular daily walker and would love to have a dog to walk with me on occasion. I am familiar with the regulations on leashes, beach hours and waste bags.

Mary was wonderful and took great care of our pup while we were away on vacation. She sent photos and updates throughout the day. Our pup has some food sensitivities and Mary was great about his meal schedule and our instructions. She took him on walks each day as well. Our pup was happy and had a great time with Mary and her husband. We would definitely work with Mary again.
Bruno feels like Mary’s place is his second home! We are grateful to her for making him feel so welcome and comfortable. Mary is wonderful too, in providing photo updates of their daily activities: walks, sofa snuggles and naps!

Programa
We are generally home on the days we accept pet sitting to take care of any visiting dogs. We became pet sitters because we enjoy hanging out with dogs.

We have a large backyard surrounded by woods far from roads as well as a home that is dog friendly. We live about 2/3 mile from a quiet beach and it is a perfect walk for most dogs.
Un día normal
We love to play with our visiting dogs and always like to take them for walks on the beach. If ok with the owner, we can take the dog for boat rides and have dog life jacket to keep them safe.
