I grew up around horses and learned to respect all living creatures large and small. We always had pets at home and they gravitated towards me because I like to play and have fun with them. I had a cat for 16 years in my youth and loved her so much. Kitties will always have a special place in my heart. I have had many pets over the years and my most recent were two rescue shepherd/husky mix wonderful family members. They were brother and sister and both passed away. I do not currently have any pets of my own right now. Pet sitting is the joy of my life, and I cannot imagine a day without walking, playing and cuddling with furry friends.

We are road tripping down from Washington with our one year old shih tzu and wanted to stop at the Monterey Aquarium. We messaged Mary last minute to see if Miffi could go to day care with her and she accepted! Mary was so wonderful, kind, communicative, and took excellent care of Miffi. Would highly recommend to anyone in a similar position!
Mary has been amazing with my cat Lulu. She has separate upstairs designated for cats with made me feel very comfortable with Lulu being in the house with dogs she isn’t around all the time. I have used her twice and she always give updates and the best pics.
Mary is the best ! So kind. She gave us pictures and updates throughout the day on our dog Strider. Also we booked a 2 nd day last minute and she was very accommodating.
Mary was great !our dog Strider loved it at her house. She updated me several times during the day with great updates and nice pictures of Strider.
Everything went great and Sebastian enjoyed his day with Mary. I definitely recommend booking with her and I will be booking with her again the future. I also appreciate her booking with us on such short notice.
Mary and her daughter are professional, caring, and took excellent care of our Great Dane. We plan to book with them again, and highly recommend their services!

I like as much information about the pet as you'd like to give me. Whatever your pet needs, I will provide for them. I have lots of experience with anxious dogs and senior dogs and cats. I welcome any information you can provide to help your pet feel comfortable. I will only feed your pet what you provide. I will follow all of your instructions verbatim.
A typical day
I enjoy taking walks with all pets. I like to start with a walk if they are up for it because I feel it’s a good way to get to know each other and trust each other. I have toys, but if your pet likes their own toys we can play with those as well. I am here for them and will do whatever I can to keep them comfortable and safe. I do not take pets off leash unless in a secure gated area, and never with other pets present.

- It’s important for me to know if you have certain commands for your pet. Will they show me they have to go out? If they do not show me, I will take them out 0-2 hours to ensure they go potty as much as needed. Feeding times are necessary to know and whether or not they have a schedule for feeding or just eat freely. I will not feed your pet anything without your permission. I will stick to all of your rules and guidelines. Any special needs for your pet will be helpful. Does your pet get along with people, other pets, and any other special requirements while in my care. Are they allowed to be on furniture?
