If this changes, I will update my profile.** I have been a cat lover my whole life. I grew up on a farm in the Midwest USA and had innumerable cats growing up, all well loved and with names, though none of them were allowed in the house due to family allergies. As soon as I had my own place, I got a cat who could live indoors with me. I noticed she was lonely when I worked long hours, so I got her a friend. Years later, I was helping a friend find a cat at a shelter, and I couldn't bear to leave behind a sweet little kitty that had stolen my heart. After that, it just felt right to always have three cats. Now I've got a husband and two children who also love cats, and we are all happy to be a feline-loving family. I would love to have more cats, but space constraints will simply not allow for that, so I am happy to look after others' cats while they are away. I have been looking after friends' pets since I was in university twenty years ago, so in addition to the experience of looking after my own cats, I've got lots of practice making sure that other animals remain comfortable at home while their humans are away. We have been fortunate to have good cat sitters when we have had to travel, and I strive to provide the same level of care that we want for our own cats. I am happy to give a cuddle, play, give treats, brush, trim nails, administer medication, and do whatever else your cat needs in order to feel safe, secure, and loved while you are away. I know that all cats have different temperaments, and I expect to get to know your cat as an individual and give them what they need.
