Availability
I am currently on a career break and therefore can provide nearly 24/7 companionship for your dogs! The only times I would be away would be to run small errands. However, as I'm in the spirit of slowly traveling the world, my calendar will reflect limited availability throughout the year.

Safety, trust & environment
I like to let our dog visitors live out their lives as if they were in their own homes. As a sitter, I will always adhere to your pet instructions and am attentive to your pet's behavior and needs. In the case of an unexpected incident, I make sure to keep owners well-informed on the health and well-being of their pet. You can expect at least one daily update with plenty of photos!

Information Mary M. would like to know about your pet
I can only accept friendly and potty-trained dogs. Please let me know of any specific care instructions for your pet. I have plenty of dog beds, toys, doggy bags, and bowls, so would only need your dog's food, special treats if they have some dietary restriction to some snacks that I may have at home, any medicine/tools to facilitate care, and anything else you think your dog may miss during their staycation. Thank you!
A typical day
Theodore Roosevelt Park next to the Natural History Museum is our go-to. It is very safe, has lots of good sniffing, and is just a block away from our home. They also have a dog park in the neighborhood, but I will not bring your dogs there unless you would like me to and I feel that there is low risk for your pup. At home, your dogs will have a number of beds and toys to pick and choose from.

Pet care experience
Hi! I'm a long-time animal lover with a sweet little dog named Lucy. We welcome any friendly and potty-trained dogs! I've been an on-and-off dog sitter on Rover for about 4 years during my time in Chicago and am excited to get back into pet care for my UWS community. I only accept one client at a time, so rest assured your dog has my undivided attention. Our favorite walking spots are Theodore Roosevelt Park and Central Park :) I have some experience in administering prescribed medicine for pets and assisting elderly/special needs pets, so please let me know how I can best take care of your dog. If you have any concerns about the compatibility of your dog to me and my dog Lucy, I'd love to arrange a meet-up to see if we would be a good fit. Please feel free to contact me for any questions or concerns!
Reviews

Oscar had a great stay. Mary was reliable, communicative, and clearly very caring with him. Oscar came home happy and comfortable, and I really appreciated the amount of time and individualized attention she gave him.

Always prompt and provides wonderful updates.

Nothing but great things about Mary! Prompt and kind with my pup!

Mary and Lucy are both amazing. My dog felt immediately at ease with them. Highly recommend!
