Your Pet's Home Away From Home

We treat every pet like part of the family. With the help of our daughter and our own dog, Harper, we create a warm, loving home where your pet can feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Both of us have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and we genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique quirks and needs. Adam also has extensive experience fostering animals, including caring for very young kittens as little as 2 days old and puppies as young as 2 weeks old. This has given him experience with everything from young, high-energy pets to animals needing extra patience, attention, and care. Whether your dog is playful and adventurous, a little shy, needs extra cuddles, or simply wants to lounge on the couch, we’re happy to meet them where they’re at and give them the care and attention they’re used to.

Doggy Day Care • Jul 04, 2023

Juniper had her first "day care" day with her new friend Harper! It was a great experience all around. Mary and Adam agreed to my request to have a meet and greet prior to officially booking - this gave me reassurance and peace of mind :) Communication has been strong from the start and I am very pleased to have chosen this home as our "go-to"!

Mary Lynn was absolutely fantastic. I told her she might not even see my cats, as they are pretty skiddish with new people. Turns out my cats were huge fans, she definitely proved me wrong. She went above and beyond what I expected. I would use her services again with pleasure!! Thanks Mary Lynn.

Mary is extremely responsible, and caring. She is very reliable, will love your fur baby and the fur baby will love her back! You can leave your dog with Mary and know right away he / she is in good hands, making your vacation, or day or two away more relaxing. Her walks are amazing too!! Bella, Jack and Sophie love her so much.

Your dog is in excellent hands with Mary. She has owned animals all her life and truly has a passion for them. She has patience, a calmness to her and extremely trustworthy. She has looked after my American Bulldog and was so kind to him. She treated him with respect and gave him lots of affection. I 100% recommended Mary for your doggy sitting needs!

Schedule

Both Adam and I are home throughout the day—he works from home, and I’m a stay-at-home mom—so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and care. We have a flexible daily routine that allows us to easily accommodate different personalities and needs, whether your pup is happiest relaxing at home or loves getting outside for walks and adventures. We’re outdoorsy people ourselves and are always looking for an excuse to get outside, so we’re more than happy to include your dog in our daily walks and adventures. Most importantly, we want your pet to feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while they’re with us!

Safety, trust & environment

We understand that every pet is unique, so we take the time to learn your dog’s routine, personality, and individual needs before they arrive. We’ll always communicate with you about things like feeding schedules, exercise routines, dietary needs, medications, and any special instructions so we can keep their routine as consistent as possible. When your dog stays in our home, they’ll be part of the family! We live on 44 acres, giving us plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors and provide lots of opportunities for exercise, play, and exploration. At home, we provide a clean, comfortable, and safe environment where your dog can relax and receive plenty of attention. We’re also very mindful of pet safety and make sure their environment is free of hazards and toxic plants. We believe dogs are happiest when they get the right balance of exercise, play, cuddles, and downtime. We’ll follow the exercise routine your dog is accustomed to at home and make sure they get plenty of opportunities to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors. Our goal is for your pup to feel right at home, stay happy and well cared for, and go home tired from all the fun!

Pets

A typical day

We’re huge nature lovers and live on 44 acres of woods, so there’s no shortage of opportunities for your pup to get outside and explore! Whether your dog loves a long adventure through the woods, a leisurely walk, or simply sniffing around and enjoying the fresh air, we’re always ready for the next adventure. Of course, we know not every pup is an outdoor enthusiast—and that’s perfectly okay! We’re just as happy spending the day playing fetch, enjoying some indoor playtime, giving lots of belly rubs, or cuddling on the couch. From weekday cuddles to weekend adventures, we’ll tailor their activities to their age, energy level, and personality. Our goal is simple: a happy, entertained, and very loved pup!

Before your pup arrives, we’d love to know as much as possible about them so we can provide the best care and make them feel right at home! Please let us know about any dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, medical conditions, special needs, or anything else that is important to their routine. We’d also like to know how they do around children, cats, and other dogs, as well as their personality, habits, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and happy. We also ask that you provide an emergency contact and your veterinarian’s information, just in case an unexpected situation arises while your pup is in our care. The more we know ahead of time, the better prepared we can be to give your pet the safe, happy, and personalized care they deserve!
