A typical day
I like to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. We’ll start the day with a walk or outdoor time, followed by meals and a relaxed start to the day. Throughout the day, I spend quality time with your pet — whether that’s playtime, walks, or simply being a calm, present companion. I’m very attentive to their energy and needs, and adjust based on what helps them feel their best. In the evenings, we’ll wind down with another walk and a calm environment so they can settle in comfortably. I do best with dogs who are comfortable having a balance of activity and downtime. I’m a great fit for dogs who are well-adjusted, relatively independent, and able to relax at home between walks and attention. I always want to make sure it’s the right fit so your pet gets the best care possible.

Hi! I’m Mary — I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and genuinely treat every pet like family. I started pet sitting for neighbors and friends when I was young, and over the years it’s become something I truly love. I’m very attentive, active, and intuitive with animals — I pay close attention to their behavior, energy, and routines so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently focus on house sitting, so your pet gets to stay in their familiar environment with consistent care and attention.

I have worked with Mary several times for weekend getaways but this last stay was for almost 3 weeks while I was in Europe. She is organized, reliable, and kind. She is so wonderful with my old boy Marshall. He had a health change right before I left and he needed meds. Mary stepped in without missing a beat to give him the extra care and attention he required. She sent lots of pictures and we even scheduled a FaceTime call so he could hear my voice (and I could see him). I can’t tell you what peace of mind it gave me to know she was taking care of him. And she left my house in perfect condition, as well. I highly recommend Mary. She is a Gem!

Mary was amazing! She made us feel so comfortable leaving our dog with her (our first time leaving him with someone besides family). She sent adorable photos throughout the week.
