Pets have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve been caring for them for over 8 years through dog walking, pet sitting, and helping friends, family, and neighbours. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing, or just having someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I know leaving your pet with someone else is a big decision, so I’ll always care for them as if they were my own and keep you updated with lots of photos along the way!

I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and follow their usual routine. I’ll carefully follow all of your instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special requests. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, and exercise while also respecting your home by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Mary Katherine has volunteered with the same animal rescue association as I have and has looked after foster dogs I have had under my care. This has allowed me to see firsthand how genuine her love for animals is and how naturally she connects with them. She is incredibly calm, patient, and intuitive with dogs, and takes the time to recognize and respond to each dog’s individual personality, boundaries, and needs. Mary Katherine is truly someone who exudes respect and kindness for people, spaces, and animals wherever she goes. She is incredibly organized, dependable, and attentive, and is someone I can trust to follow instructions and respect my living space. She approaches pet care thoughtfully and puts genuine effort into making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I feel completely confident recommending her to others and am honestly excited for any pet that gets to spend time with her.
Mary Kate has been an excellent sitter for our active English Setter. She has provided daily walks, as well as longer stays. She is very kind, caring and trustworthy and obviously gave lots of attention to our sweet pup, who did not seem to miss us! Mary Kate is absolutely amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Schedule
Caring for pets fits easily into my weekly routine. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so dog walks are something I genuinely look forward to. I prioritize being reliable, punctual, and making sure every pet receives plenty of exercise, attention, and love while their owner is away.
