RAIN OR SHINE, WE'RE WALKING!

What truly sets me apart is my experience raising 15 dogs for Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I helped train and prepare future service dogs for life-changing work. That experience required a high level of consistency, patience, and attention to detail - along with a deep understanding of canine behavior, structure, and trust-building. Because of that background, I bring a more intentional, thoughtful approach to every dog I care for. I’m highly attuned to behavior, routines, and subtle changes, and I tailor each walk or visit to what your dog actually needs that day - not a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m especially comfortable working with puppies and senior dogs. I can help reinforce foundational training and leash manners for younger pups, while also providing slower-paced, attentive, comfort-focused care for older dogs. Above all, I combine reliability, structure, and genuine connection - so your dog feels safe, engaged, and cared for, and you feel confident knowing they’re in experienced hands.

Schedule

Pet care is a natural and consistent part of my daily routine. I intentionally structure my schedule to ensure I have dedicated, uninterrupted time for each dog in my care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or extended sitting. Because of my experience raising, I am accustomed to maintaining structured routines, reinforcing positive behaviors, and adapting to each dog’s individual needs. Consistency, timing, and attentiveness are second nature to me. I also build flexibility into my week to accommodate different energy levels, schedules, and any last-minute needs that may come up. Pet care isn’t something I “fit in”-it’s something I prioritize and genuinely enjoy being a regular part of my life.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I tailor my care based on whether I’m in your home or mine, but my priorities are always the same: consistency, safety, and making your pet feel completely secure. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s established routine as closely as possible- meals, walks, playtime, and any training cues- so they feel comfortable in their own environment. In my home, I create a calm, structured space with plenty of supervision, thoughtful enrichment, and a low-stress atmosphere. Safety is something I take very seriously. I’m diligent about secure leashing, door and gate awareness, monitoring surroundings during walks, and always keeping a close eye on behavior and energy levels. I’m also attentive to subtle changes that could signal stress, discomfort, or health concerns. My experience has made me especially detail-oriented when it comes to routines, boundaries, and positive reinforcement. I’m very comfortable working with puppies (reinforcing training and structure) as well as providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs. I also prioritize communication; You’ll receive regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: your pet feels relaxed, engaged, and cared for- and you feel completely at ease.

A typical day

Think: structured adventure with intention. Your dog’s day includes purposeful walks, outdoor exploration, and enriching experiences designed to match their energy and personality. From neighborhood routes to nature-filled outings, I focus on creating engaging, safe, and stimulating adventures that go beyond a basic walk. With a background raising Guide Dogs for the Blind, I bring a level of structure and awareness that keeps dogs engaged, responsive, and safe in dynamic outdoor settings. Add in consistent updates, great photos, and a dog that comes home happy and tired - it’s a win all around.

I like to go into every booking feeling fully prepared, so I always take time upfront to learn what makes your dog them. Things like their routine, energy level, quirks, favorite activities, and anything they might be sensitive to are all super helpful. I also like to know what commands you use and how they typically do on leash, so I can keep things consistent for them. I also like to understand your preferences as an owner—whether that’s communication style, photo updates, or anything specific you want reinforced during our time together.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
