Collectively, our household has well over 15 years of animal care experience. From farm life raising cattle to assisting with terminal dog care- we have experienced a plethora of unique situations. As a whole, we are a gentle giant family with several years of experience having Great Danes in our family. We have experience with needing to administer anything from simple medications to intravenous treatments to our special critters.

The Burrells were so helpful and accommodating for our two dogs, one being an elderly Great Dane. They went above and beyond, sending photos and updates throughout the week. We are truly grateful to know our pups were well cared for.

Wonderful stay for Winston.
We had such a wonderful experience with Mary! She kept us updated daily with messages, photos, and videos of our dogs, which gave us so much peace of mind. It’s clear she and her family truly love and care for the dogs they watch. We felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs with her and will absolutely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend!
Amazing care was taken of my fur baby and I had no worries about her at all on vacation!
Always an amazing experience with Mary & Jesse- this is the second time theyve watched our bulldog and he absolutely adores them. They send regular updates, follow care instructions to a tee, and he is always happy as a clam under their care. highly recommend :)

Schedule
Dogs have always been apart of our lives until as of the last few months when we lost our Great Dane to kidney disease. Dog care fits in so perfectly into our livestyle because one of us works from home every day of the week. We rarely have no one home except when we have planned weekend events. Our family and social lives outside of the home are usually a dinner night out and back within 2 hours.

Think of us as empty nesters just waiting to get to some dog cuddles in! We live in a single family home with a fenced in yard and turf if your fur baby is particular. Our neighborhood is extremely walkable where we normally take multiple daily walks depending on the weather. We are very clean and orderly without lots of clutter that an adventurous pup can get into. Our flexibility without having younger children or other dogs in the home means that your animal will receive personalized care to the needs that they have.
A typical day
A typical day in our household starts early and goes down early. We are up and about starting at 5 AM and take a morning walk around the neighborhood for 30 mins- hour. Breakfast and porch sitting afterward until the sun starts to reach over the neighboring houses and it gets too hot. Typically myself and our house critters are around the home during the work day, taking breaks to go to the porch and back yard every couple of hours. We normally have dinner and an evening walk at minimum every night as well before calling it a night at around 9PM. We are close to Chatfield where we have a dog park pass if that is a fitting scene for your pup. If not, we also frequent other dog friendly hiking trails around Douglas and JeffCo.
